No news at the moment since the last update.

I will post it again here in case anyone missed it tho.

"Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday."

Been checking the thread all weekend, Aillidh has been constantly on my mind. I'm not religious, so don't pray but I do a good line in willing. Willing more improvements for little Aillidh, be strong and heal gorgeous girl. Willing strength for her parents and family and the lovely people supporting all of them. Willing wisdom for the medical staff to give her the very best chances. Love, hope and strength to you all.

Doesn't matter the size of the step - as long as it is in the right direction.

We're still here little one xx

My friend in the USA has asked her church prayer group to pray for Aillidh. One of the group's niece had leukaemia when she was a child and is now 27 and a nurse. She asked me to pass that on to give hope.

I'm delighted to hear her sats are improving. Definitely a step in the right direction. I'll keep praying. Giraffes you're a trooper :) praying for God to be in the situation and lifting up all those who are supporting her.
I'm reminded of Moses lifting his hands in Exodus:
As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage.
When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands upone on one side, one on the otherso that his hands remained steady till sunset.

I feel like we're all helping to keep those arms up in prayer.

I woke at 3am this morning and my first thought was for her. So pleased to hear some better news. xx

Another one here whose last thought before sleeping and first thought on waking was for A. So pleased to hear things are edging in the right direction. Joining the many, many people willing her on and sending support to expat, Giraffes and everyone else who surrounds her.

Glad to hear that things are looking up even just a bit. She's obviously still a very poorly little girl, but is fighting and starting to win.
