No news at the moment since the last update.

I will post it again here in case anyone missed it tho.

"Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday."

Good to update giraffes. Keep doing a wonderful job for expat. Glad she can have a shower. Lots of strong tea and biscuits. I am so so sorry for her and Aillidh. My son has leukaemia too but isn't nearly so poorly at the mo, so I can understand a little of the stress, strain and desperation.

Keep on whispering strong loving thoughts to little A, tell her of all the lovely things she can look forward to doing, of all the love and strength that people everywhere are sending her, keep willing her to fight, tell her she will be off to Disneyland soon, that she is a strong girl and a brave girl and how proud of her we all her. I know you will be doing such things anyway. Can expat hold her hand in icu? Can she kiss her?

I am so sad for you but know what a strong strong woman expat is. She must have passed on her strength to her daughter. Thinking of you all so much.
Ds and I have put our hands together and said a prayer for you all.

Thinking of expat and all your family, horrible that they should have a bug. I suppose this means Dh can't visit ailidh? So unfair the way these things happen.

Giraffes oh no! If MIL goes to help with the poorly kids she won't be able to go back to the hospital for days, will she? For fear of spreading infection!

You are doing a wonderful job, Giraffes, us useless southerners are v grateful.

QOD · 01/07/2012 14:29
