I have been on mumsnet for many years in several guises ,and I think expat has been here about the same time,my ds3 is roughly the same age as Aillidh.He has had a lot of extra hugs these past weeks

Really really recommend a MP2 pillow. Even if she can't lie in it for medical reasons you could lay it near her.

Has she an MP3 player? An ipod? A phone that can download?

Get itunes or similar and I really really really suggest &audible*. You could download some stories for her to listen to.

Very soothing. Malory Towers or Famour 5 might be just the thing.

Can donate a small silly sum but everything helps. Enough to buy a book or a few songs.

i know what its like to watch your child in such a critical state, sadly my son died but i hope and pray expats aillidh makes it.

been praying for the whole family.

its so true that even at such an awful time, the expenses are crippling, even if parking free petrol isnt, not to mention loss of wages, expensive food bills, treats for the children.
i'm sure this will help ease the load.
