Thank you for updating Giraffes. I hope you all get some rest tonight. Prayers for and love to you all.

She does get very tired quicly when off the BIPAP - you can see her oxygen fall and her heart rate and resp rate go up when she is off it. She needs it to do some work for her. Although it is prone to moving slightly/becoming uncomfy/letting air escape and she hates that. It is a fab machine but a bloody annoying one too!

I am ok, I slept lastnight.

Mon night I stayed at hosp all night until 8am, then woke up at 12 noon, met a friend, then went back up to hosp and stayed awake until 11pm, so I was shattered lastnight and nearly couldnt sleep cos I was over tired. But feel ok now.

Am having some vodka and watching trashy TV! Expat is going to sleep tonight and DH is going to sit with Aillidh.

Thank you giraffes - updates appreciated. Aillidh sounds such a brave tough girl.

Still thinking of you all, expat, and hoping that tomorrow will be better than today.

Just seen the latest updates,glad to see that Aillidh did not need to be ventilated.What an ordeal for everyone in the family.Hoping that there is even better news tomorrow.

Thanks for the update, giraffe. She sounds like such a brave kid: "very much better" is such a sweet Jane Austen-like thing to say when she's having such an awful time. Glad her dad has come through and can spend some time with her and with expat.

Expat, I rarely comment on here, and I never pray, but I wanted you to know that I check multiple times a day here and on the FB group for updates on Aillidh, and I wanted you to know that there's someone in Oregon that's trying as hard as they can to will her to get better.
