I've heard it said,Moët recently on a thread on jeté, that people have 'edperiencer Jesus'

No one ever elaborates though, or gives any detail

It's very mysterious. I am intrigued

Have all Christians had this experience?

If you are geniunely interested in sensible answers, I'd contact HQ and ask for it to be moved.
If your intention is to start a fight, stick around.

bejeezus · 16/04/2012 08:08

No, I am genuinely interested

Jesus delivered my Ocado groceries just before Easter.

SarahStratton · 16/04/2012 08:23

In a Cabbage van.

Soupy is the only person I know with a direct Jesus experience.

Pray for deliverance of a dictionary? Or for autocorrect to bugger off.

bejeezus · 16/04/2012 08:52

I know!! It appears to be French autocorrect an all!

Soupy, a real one?

In the Religious section do people give any specific examples of Jesus experiences?

When I ask people in real life for details, they clam up and refuse to answer. It's strange.

If Gor gives out Moet as the wine, I'm there!

Seabright · 16/04/2012 09:45

Cassette - that's lovely. It must have brought you great calm. Thanks for sharing it, it made me feel calming reading it and I'm not a proper religious person.

I don't demand it. Just when someone says, they've experienced God/Jesus. I say how? The reply is, I can't tell you/I'm not saying.

twofingerstoGideon · 16/04/2012 09:52

One of my religious friends actually told me that Jesus helped her to find parking spaces if she asked him nicely.

I work in the charity sector, and I meet many people who have had very personal experiences and that has driven them to commit their lives to helping others in pretty extraordinary ways tbh- like a guy who went to deliver toys to an orphanage in a developing country as a teenager. He saw the awful conditions and basically questioned God, and he believes that God said "I have shown you this. You know what I want you to do" and he never left, learnt the language and has committed the last 20 yrs of his life to improving conditions there, living a very simple and materially deprived life in a not very nice part of the world. Pretty amazing thing to do as an 18 yr old.

Seabright · 16/04/2012 14:22

Parking Spaces? Really?

I know He moves in mysterious ways & all that, but hasn't He got more important stuff to be thinking about?
