Something weird just happened

DP and I were sat watching TV etc..suddenly we heard a crackling sound coming from the monitor and then a loud cry, we rushed upstairs thinking one of the kids would be sat up in bed and they were both fast asleep the sound was really weird though.

Our TV also turned itself over a couple of weeks ago.

Please someone have a rational explanation for this? If DP wasn't here I would be hysterical by now but am quite scared tbh.

not sure if you've changed your name yet but there is no need to be scared. i don't have a rational explanation for you but please trust me (although i know that you don't know me) there is no reason to be scared or frightened. there is no easy way for me to tell you this that you won't think is weird but when i read your thread i had an image in mind of a little boy in blue and white striped pyjamas turning the telly over to attract your attention. he is quite young with mid-brown hair and is holding a teddy bear under his left arm. please don't be scared, i don't mean to upset you Smile

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:12

One of your children cried out in there sleep? It happens most nights in many houses.

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:13

fransmom, do your special powers really work two months later?

you say dont be scared, and then come out with thatShock I would be cacking myself nowGrin

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:18

Well if Fransmom only just read the thread (well, single post) then I guess she WOULD only just get the image that relates to CrazyDazy's experience. Some people can do this.. it's not all b*llox :)

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:19

Well i can be openminded but not in this instance!

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:21

Why not?

waterfalls · 27/02/2006 23:22

fransmom
Can you give me any indication who or what was with my mum for many many years, lots of weird happenings (too many to go into) I have always had the feeling it was protecting her from my father, and stayed with her foraround 20 yrs after thier split until she met her desent current husband, as things went oddly quiet from there on.Smile

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:22

Seeing a 'vision' after reading a couple of sentences, two months after the event and after the poster wrote it????

Thats why!

waterfalls · 27/02/2006 23:23

decent........even

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:23

Fransmom, tell me something about me that will prove me wrong.

What noise did i hear as i type this?

edodgy · 27/02/2006 23:24

Ohh fransmom do me, do me? I'm serious i'm really interested in ths kind of stuff do you get anything from my posts?

lucy5 · 27/02/2006 23:26

If we are putting in requests, can you tell me anything about my fil who has recently died in strange circumstances?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/02/2006 23:32

Dont be such a cynic Hattie! Smile

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:34

Hattie, I'm not a psychic/clairvoyant but have read a lot about it.. and there does not always seem to be any rhyme or reason to how, when and why the people with the gift get the messages.. they just get them.. and then, obviously, most will want to pass that message on if they think it will help.

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:38

So that will help? Ok you don't only have two children sleeping upstairs, you also have wee willie winkie making crackling noises.

You're right sleepjess, there is no rhyme or reason.......neither evidence.

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:42

Oh Hattie!! Ok so you don't believe in clairvoyance.. that's fine. But that doesn't automatically make it complete crap just because you think it is. There is much in life that exists without emperical evidence!

You are clearly a hard-nosed scientific sort.. [grin[.. go back to your lab! Wink

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:44

Glad you detected the lightheartenedness to my post sleepjess Wink

I was just thinking i hoped it didn't come accros too harsh.

But seriously, i would like to believe and so would like someone to tell me something that wows me.

What colour socks am i wearing?

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:46

Yes Hattie.. your tongue in cheek was clearly 'visible'.. Grin

Green and purple.

expatinscotland · 27/02/2006 23:47

i'm watching 'the silence of the lambs' and getting all freaked out.

fransmom · 27/02/2006 23:47

can and worms, anyone?! Grin
first, especially to hattie05, i never claimed it was a "vision", it was an impression and before you say anything else, i said it because i thought it might help. i never claimed to have special powers, i can't call anything to order this is just what i can do, it is an ability like some people can read, drive, paint etc etc. let me put this question to you hattie05, if you are so insistent in criticising why are you reading this thread? thanx to sleepyjess tho Smile i'm off to bed, dd is teething and keeping up and down most nights.goodnight everyone x

waterfalls · 27/02/2006 23:50

Awwww, cant you get anything from my question, I believe in all that stuffSmile

Hattie05 · 27/02/2006 23:50

That is why my vision is in apostrophes, not speech marks, i was attempting to point out that it was my term and i was a little hesitant as to what to call it.

I am sorry to have critiscised but i have been won over now as i am wearing green and purple socks on Shock Shock Sleepjess you lied! you are a psychic!! Shock And off i go on my broomstick Wink.

SleepyJess · 27/02/2006 23:51

Please tell me you are NOT wearing green and purple socks!! Shock Come BACK on that broomstick!! I don't want to be psychic! I AM NOT READY!!!! Grin
