Something weird just happened

DP and I were sat watching TV etc..suddenly we heard a crackling sound coming from the monitor and then a loud cry, we rushed upstairs thinking one of the kids would be sat up in bed and they were both fast asleep the sound was really weird though.

Our TV also turned itself over a couple of weeks ago.

Please someone have a rational explanation for this? If DP wasn't here I would be hysterical by now but am quite scared tbh.

Now sleepyjess, do i look like the kind of person who would wear green and purple socks?

D'you know i was gonna say they are black (cos i thought they were) but just looked at my feet and they are brown, purple and pink stripes.

apology accepted, hattie05. i was a little tired so perhaps i might have overreacted.

there was a lady, i hesitate to say old because i do not wish to insult anyone but her hair was almost white and she had it tied back in a bun. it wasn't a scrunchie, just some type of material that was amid- to dark-brown colour. she had a kind face, some lines but a lovely face nonetheless. she had an old fashioned pullover on, the kind that comes with twinset and pearls but without the pearls or cardigan over it. she also wore a mid-calf length skirt, and i think what looked like brown lace-up shoes. she has her hands held slightly apart on either side of your moms face, in what i would call a healing gesture. i do not have anything else so i hope that helps you. i understand it might not be what you were looking for, especially in something public like this, but i hope it helps you.

lucy5, i'm sorry but nothing at the moment,
the best way i can think to explain it is like radio reception. if the tuner button is slightly off-kilter then the reception isn't its best; likewise, if i'm tired or cold, or distracted then its bit difficult.
something totally different. expatinscotland, the book is much scarier than the film, i thought it was rubbish and there was only one part in the film that made me jump and that was when the prison guard took his food into the room where he was locked in the cage!
