meat gone missing again ......

thought i was going mad .....

i was sure i had seen some sausages on the draining board this morning

after tea they had dissapeered

i texted db to ask if he had taken out sausages

he texted back yes

i replied erm .... think they have vanished - and prob into monsters tummy

db not impressed

least woofa had good taste - they were venison sauasages

db now has filled pasta for tea

lol - I didn't feel like cooking tonight so we had frozen fish fillets & oven chips. DH took over cooking and I felt obliged to point out that the salmon fillets baking on the shelf below were not for us, but for the dogs

In my defence, they were out of date...

My DD1 left out a pack of nice ham, and some cheese, by accident last week.
I KNEW I had ham and cheese, ready for picnic...food was gone!
Found the wrappers in the bathroom!!!

Probablt been shared around 4 kittens and MummyCat...and in her defence, it was NICE ham.

As a vegetarian, I could cope with meat being pinched... it's the toast/cereal/pasta with tomato sauce and cheese that is worrying me. My new kitten is supposed to be a carnivore! Found ds feeding him meringue today. Kitten really enjoyed it.

DP's dog (newfie/lab/gsd cross) get Very Hungry every now and then and steals food. Usually the bread or the butter as they are the most appetising things we leave out. Last time he hid the bread bag under the sofa cushions afterwards. He had half a leftover pizza once and we disturbed him mid-feast - I found a slice in the sofa a week later

We always remember we have forgotten to put something edible away when we have got halfway to where we are going, and then it's a case of Schroedinger's Butter/Bread/Pizza 'til we get home.

hlaf thr problem is that woofa is so big and can reach thinhs hidden or meant to be out of his readch

tbh i havent found anything he doesnt like - he is a right srounger and after each meal (where he sits in his bed watching us) he then dives under table and licks floor clean

bella - you give your pets out of date fish I would NEVER do that

woofa only has the best cuts of meat/fish - sometimes he steals them

purpleone- cheese is a real favourite for our woofa-he wolfed down 500g mature organic cheeses in a few mins that i was out of the room

edam - sounds like kitten has a good diet

i rule my charges with a rod of iron - and lots of love!!!

and i NEVER give them out of date food - that would be a sackable offence!!!
