Rescue cats need a home

Hi,

This is probably a long shot but i've been fostering a cat and her kittens for about 3 months and unfortunately we still have 1 kitten and mother looking for a home.

If you wish to offer either of these two cats a home please note that a donation and homecheck will be required and that the cats are currently located in North Wales but can be transported (2 hours travelling distance at the moment)

Pictures are here we have Princess the mother who is around 2 years old. She will be spayed and have her injections before going to her new home.

and also Hugo who is around 11 weeks old. He will be upto date with his vacinations but obviously is too young to be neutered.

Please email me on [email protected] if you can offer them a home.

DrNorthener - I can't post on gumtree or anything like that because they are rescue cats and homechecks etc. Rescues dont like posting on those type of websites.

9/10 times they are posting to say they'll take the unwanted dog/cat/snake etc.

Thanks for the tips though. Any others would be much appreciated.

Giving you a bump.

Please, please somebody....

SparklyGothKat · 01/12/2008 17:09

What are they like with other cats?

LuckySalem · 01/12/2008 17:14

Sparkly - They are living with my 2 cats (female and her son) and get along fine now they've settled in. It took around a week for them to get along but now they are fine.
They won't curl up with each other but are happy in the same room. Although I've not tried feeding them in the same room - don't know if that would make any difference and they sleep in seperate rooms

sorry just seen you are in wales, am near london so can't help. I would have loved to rehome Hugo. We have 2 female cats and 1 male cat (who comes and goes as he pleases, was missing for 3 months, came back last week, had some food and disappeared again lol)

LuckySalem · 01/12/2008 17:16

Sounds just like a male cat that. The difference between my 2 are amazing!! lol

London can be arranged for the right home as there are lots of people who could give him somewhere to stay overnight before making the final journey.

If you would like me to look into it?

if possible please. Would the fact that we have 2.5 cats, lol, count against us? Oh we have 2 rabbits too. My cats are neutured etc and insuranced. We also have 4 children, aged 11,8,7 and 1.

SparklyGothKat · 01/12/2008 17:22

also we live in a quiet street, which backs onto DHL (sure thats where my male disappears too, getting fed from the drivers) large garden which the cats have access to via the kitchen window.

LuckySalem · 01/12/2008 17:22

Shouldn't have to worry about other cats as long as they're all upto date on jabs and are neutered.
Kids are no problem either as long as they're respectful as he does "shut down" when my DD tries to pick him up (she's only 10 months old) He likes cuddles though so as long as they are gentle he'll be fine.

Do me a favour, drop me an email so I've got yours - I'll send you the rescues number and if contact them then they'll be able to arrange a homecheck in your area.

Oh I'm so happy he may have a home.

SparklyGothKat · 01/12/2008 17:23
