Rescue cats need a home

Hi,

This is probably a long shot but i've been fostering a cat and her kittens for about 3 months and unfortunately we still have 1 kitten and mother looking for a home.

If you wish to offer either of these two cats a home please note that a donation and homecheck will be required and that the cats are currently located in North Wales but can be transported (2 hours travelling distance at the moment)

Pictures are here we have Princess the mother who is around 2 years old. She will be spayed and have her injections before going to her new home.

and also Hugo who is around 11 weeks old. He will be upto date with his vacinations but obviously is too young to be neutered.

Please email me on [email protected] if you can offer them a home.

I know. I'm too far away and have too many cats already but even I keep looking at this...

LuckySalem · 25/11/2008 19:14

But where Bella? We're getting abit desperate for homes for these guys so depends on how far away you are?

Nearly at Scotland....

I have 4 already

& 2 dogs

& a hamster....

What d'you mean exactly by desperate.....?

LuckySalem · 25/11/2008 21:21

Well the rescue is low on funds and without sounding mean and unfeeling. The cats are really draining their rescourses and with us having DD and 2 of our own cats to pay for we can't help them out.

They are in no danger just could really do with them having loving homes really.

I know, I know.

It's just I don't think I could take on 2 more, and surely there's someone closer?

Plus my Cats Protection chums might not be too chuffed if I took some from so far away rather than from them...

Eugh, I really do want to help & I do understand the problem.

Anybody else out there?

cheesesarnie · 25/11/2008 22:23

they are beutiful.

how about starting a thread saying anyone near north wales?lure in the locals?

LuckySalem · 26/11/2008 16:06

There isn't many north wales people on here unfortunatly. I tried that a few months ago when I was looking for fellow mums.

I already have 2 cats who are completely house cats, otherwise would take them in a heart beat. South Wales though.
Have you tried anyone from the liverpool area?

LuckySalem · 29/11/2008 20:51

I've tried all over the place but noone seems to want these last 2, Mum is too old and Hugo is black.

Sad
LuckySalem · 29/11/2008 21:00

I know I feel really sorry for them both.

scifinerd · 29/11/2008 21:12

Oh gosh they are gorgeous. I really want another cat especially a male. My problem is one of my female cats is very neurotic and an animal behaviouralist told us we shouldn't get any more cats while we have her. She tends to pee on beds when she is upset, which is a major pain. The other female cat would be fine. Aaarggh, they are gorgeous. Would london be too far away anyway?

LuckySalem · 29/11/2008 21:19

It could be done for the right home. We'd arrange it so that they stayed overnight somewhere then did the last bit of distance to you.

Have a think about it and if your sure email me and we'll sort out a homecheck for you then see about transport.

Have you tried posting this on gumtree luckysalem?

Hugo is adorable. I hope they both find a lovely home.

I have a dog and a cat already, otherwise I would take them both!
