She is 10 months old
she has been done

She is wandering around mewing - but if you pick her up she jumps down

maybe she's found something interesting & wants to show you??

VictorianSqualor · 03/07/2008 09:38

Can they still go into season once they have been done?

Beetroot · 03/07/2008 09:38

oh do you think - should I follow her?

vonsudenfed · 03/07/2008 09:39

based on observations here in the vonsudenfed household:

a) she has hidden a small dead bird somewhere in the house and would like you to find it (most likely)
b) there is another cat in the garden and she wants you to shout at it
c) she has run out of catfood
d) she is a cat and is therefore not subject to the rules of logic (my cats)

sandy4 · 03/07/2008 09:39

yes, follow!

VictorianSqualor · 03/07/2008 09:39

Actually, yes follow her.
Peachy's cat did this to her DH, she was really ill and the cat made DH check on her.

Beetroot · 03/07/2008 09:39

not sure -

she does not seem to want me to foolow her

BandofMothers · 03/07/2008 09:43

She could just be reporting what she's been doing to you.

PortBlacksandRegeneration · 03/07/2008 09:44

Iklboo · 03/07/2008 09:44

Our female cat is very vocal for no apparant reason. Meows at anything and everything.

LazyLinePainterJane · 03/07/2008 10:55

Mine used to like it if you held her up so she could catch the flies above her height. She used to miaow for that, cheeky beggar.

Beetroot · 03/07/2008 12:28

she seems to have quietened down now.

funny thin g

OP posts:
Hathled · 03/07/2008 12:30

Maybe she's trying to tell you that Little Bobby is stuck down an old mine shaft?

cyteen · 03/07/2008 12:31

"Why is my cat mewing and wanting attention?"

Because she's a cat?

My 8 year old male cat still wakes me up every single night between 3am and 4.30am, for no other reason than that he thinks I should get up and adore him
