i have added a pic of her in my profile. She is an 8 month old and the fosterer believes she is a labrador, cross. crossed with what though i dont know! I thought collie because of the colouring, but her face and stance is very staffie dont you think?

have you clicked "let all mners see" on the bottom of your "my MN" page?

supastar · 26/06/2008 13:27

i agree justageek. colouring is collie but overall dog has more of a stafie stance.

Threadwworm · 26/06/2008 13:29

Agree with staffie plus collie.

northernrefugee39 · 26/06/2008 14:11

Yes, I'd deff say with staffy.
A lovely mixture too! She looks gorgeous.

Really nice temperamet too because staffies are very affectionate when brought up properly and laboradors are just soft.

morethanyoubargainfor · 26/06/2008 14:17

She is grogeous, i would say lurcher type, maybe a staffie x.

northernrefugee39 · 26/06/2008 14:25

We have a lurcher lab cross. her face is longer with closer set eyes than justa's.

We've also just got a patterdale chiwhuahua from the RSPCA. Cute. They make a really comical pair

i think thats a second cross - so atleast staffie and collie, with maybe a bit of jack russell aswell!

justageek · 02/07/2008 07:38

yes herts that what my dad said after seeing her at the weekend, he thinks she is a staff cross collie cross lab, he had a black lab and you would almost think she was his black labs puppy watching them play together. So a second cross looks about right.

I have a staff/boxer.
Your dog definately looks staffie, the face, the shoulders, the white patch, the stance. I would say staffie no doubt about it. Don't see lab though(?)
Isn't the dog a bit slim for a collie?
Gonna have another look

littleboyblue · 02/07/2008 07:44

Hmm
Can't tell really what else. Still don't think it's collie though. My FIL has 3 border collies and they are huge!

justageek · 02/07/2008 07:47

she is only 8 months though and a rescue dog, so she may fill out though. I thought staffie straight away though the rescue people tried to pass her off as a lab cross collie.

OP posts:
littleboyblue · 02/07/2008 07:51

No way is she a lab/collie. Look at my profile, there's a picture of my dog on there and she is staff/boxer.

justageek · 02/07/2008 07:51

added another picture to see if that helps!

OP posts:
littleboyblue · 02/07/2008 07:52

No there's not. I wonder where it went? Will get it back on there.

justageek · 02/07/2008 07:54

i knew she wasnt a lab cross, i saw the staff straight away, they then decided she was a staff/lab cross. I think they were worried about staff's reputation because i had children.

littleboyblue · 02/07/2008 07:58

Maybe, but aren't staff supossed to be one of the best family pets. Maybe the mum was a staff and the dada was a lab/collie?

littleboyblue · 02/07/2008 07:58

Hahaha aark at me, dada!

LuckySalem · 02/07/2008 08:00

I think she's got some some terrier in her too, GORGEOUS doggie though!

justageek · 02/07/2008 08:01

i dont know, i am not sure what the issue is with staffs, something to do with being the 'chav' choice of pet and being made to fight i think.i have no idea what her parents were but i think she is 3/4 staff that much i am fairly sure of!
