i have added a pic of her in my profile. She is an 8 month old and the fosterer believes she is a labrador, cross. crossed with what though i dont know! I thought collie because of the colouring, but her face and stance is very staffie dont you think?

i was brought up with jack russels, i am not sure i can see any of them in her, but maybe some kind of terrier! She has little golden flecks throughout her coat too.

Staffs aren't always problem dogs (anyone watch dog whisperer with "Daddy?") Just they are the pets for the people who like to look "ard" and they are fought so most of the time you hear about them in the papers but I think any dog can be violent.

My nain used to have a chihuaha (sp) who was vicious some days so you know... lol

eek chihuaha's! i would never get one of those, yappie little rat things! (sorry chihuaha owners but i realy cant stand them!) same as those little terriers that look like walking mops!

Brave though (or incredibly stupid) they dont half like to take on the 'big' dogs!

Yep!!

I used to have a dog that looked like yours but the oposite colours (IYKWIM?) and she looked more or less exactly the same and a vet told me there was some terrier in her so maybe..... I couldn't tell you what type of terrier though! Brilliant dog!! The mongrels are the best and i don't think I'd ever get a purebred.

To me she looks like a collie/staffie cross. Can't see much lab to be honest.
But she is absolutely gorgeous!

aye thats what my dad said, mongrels tend to live longer and have less health problems. She has a beautiful tempermant, and a tendancy to think her rightful place is in bed between me and my husband (he disagrees!)

I wondered if most people thought collie because of the colour, rather than the look. I grew up next to a farm and saw lots of collies, not entirely convinced she has some in her.

my gran said she was a 'heinz' LOL

Yep that's what my mum uses to describe mongrels. Heinz dogs! Oh I want a doggie now, I'm stuck with stupid cats cos we couldn't have a dog while both of us worked (I don't work now, can I have a doggie?) lol

we have two cats as well, as i never ever thought we would find a private rent that is long term and would not mind a dog, so many places say no pets, no children these days!

The cats have left the building however, they are NOT impressed with Muttley (dog dog , or Oats depending on your choice!) being in the house one bit! She loves them though and wants to play with them!

I hope you can get a dog soon! They really are the best pets in my opinion!
