Footballer animal cruelty

Mellowyellow222 · 08/02/2022 07:50

I have just watched the video of a famous footballer kicking and clapping his pet cat.

He claims it was an isolated incident - I find this hard to believe. His brother was filming it giggling.

Clearly animal cruelty is common in this household.

Horrible, horrible people.

I hope he is properly punished for this. He is clearly a monster who should be banned from keeping animals.

Is this Kurt Zouma? West Ham say they're going to deal with it internally. In other words nothing's going to happen to him because they've spent so much money on him. Why are so many footballers disgusting human beings?

IncompleteSenten · 08/02/2022 07:57

He is disgusting.
There is no way that was an isolated incident. Not that that makes it ok.

He's a fucking ambassador for a big cat charity too. He needs to lose that and his poor cat needs to be removed and he needs to be banned from keeping animals.

He chased his cat. Threw things at the cat. Picked the cat up and drop kicked it then slapped the cats face while his child was holding the cat

He needs to be prosecuted.

And he can shove his apology up his arse

He's not sorry for abusing his cat. He's sorry the video was shared. He happily abused the cat while being recorded and the person recording it was laughing.

That tells me that this happens regularly and they share the videos of them abusing animals with each other and laugh about it

Mellowyellow222 · 08/02/2022 08:22

@IncompleteSenten I agree completely. I had no idea he was an ambassador for a car charity.

It has made me so cross - it is clearly a regular occurrence - his brother giggling shows no one was shocked.

And that fact that video was shared shows they really didn’t think it depicted anything shocking or wrong.

I hope at the very least the cats are taken away - but he really should be prosecuted.

The Met have decided not to investigate this - according to Sky News Twitter

Mellowyellow222 · 08/02/2022 08:29

So he gets away with it. Poor cats.

This casual cruelty is so nasty.

I wonder what his kids think of him. He has probably gaslighted them into thinking what he did was fine.

His statement said the cats were healthy - after being drop kicked that cat should see a vet. And be rehomed.

You are fucking kidding me! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Where are the RSPCA ? Normally they'd be all over this. What are they doing?

He tortured the cat in front of a child.

By rights there should also be social services involvement.

But nooooo. Because he kicks a ball round a field he can abuse animals and children and the police say ah well, never mind, we do love that footie.

IncompleteSenten · 08/02/2022 10:13

I emailed the RSPCA to ask what they will be doing about this

I got this reply

"Thank you for contacting us about this incident.

This is a very upsetting video. It’s never acceptable to kick, hit or slap an animal, for punishment or otherwise.

We are so grateful to people who report suspected animal suffering to us and we would like to reassure people we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made to us about animal welfare."

Sounds to me like they're planning to do fuck all.

Tiltawhirl · 08/02/2022 10:16

That’s awful. The fact that people can be so ‘casually’ cruel to animals and think it’s normal is really worrying.

He should be prosecuted for this reason, we can’t just normalise it.

FlapsInTheWind · 08/02/2022 10:19

Nothing at all will be done about this. Nothing. This country slides further and further into the mire every day.

Hmmph · 08/02/2022 10:22

I just watched the video as I assumed people were exaggerating.

They weren’t. It was horrible- he literally drop kicks and hits the cat.

There is no way on earth that he shouldn’t be prosecuted for this. I understand that means he’d just get a fine probably that would be like pennies to him. But there is no way that nothing can happen - it’s a video of a clear case of animal cruelty.

Spasiba · 08/02/2022 10:33

That's another nail in Dame Dickhead's coffin.
That is blatant animal cruelty.
And the cretin filmed it 🤬

Louisianagumbo · 08/02/2022 10:38

Who's Dame Dickhead?

Jonsnowsghost · 08/02/2022 10:52

I haven't watched the video but to see how differently he is being treated to the woman who kicked/hit the horse is insane. I guess if you're not a nobody you can get away with animal cruelty Angry

Jessica60 · 08/02/2022 10:53

RSPCA please do something. What more evidence do you need?

Newfluff · 08/02/2022 10:55

You are right, it isn't. She has lost her job and has been hounded.

A bet nothing happens to a male footballer

MayThePawsBeWithYou · 08/02/2022 10:55

Nothing will be done, he should lose his charity role and the cat rehomed at the very least. Horrible horrible bully boy

DefaultParent · 08/02/2022 10:56

What sort of environment is that child growing up in? Social services need to investigate this and the cunt needs to go to prison.

ElEmEnOhPee · 08/02/2022 10:57

It's disgusting. That he did this in front of a child (and whilst child was holding the cat) should be classed as child abuse IMO.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 08/02/2022 10:57

I was just reading this and it's horrendous. How is he not being prosecuted.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 08/02/2022 10:57

@Louisianagumbo

Who's Dame Dickhead?
C dick I'm guessing

Absolutely. I've signed it.
Pembertonrd · 10/02/2022 14:19

La Fondation 30 million des Amis have contacted prosecutors in France.
They want him removed from the french national team too.
Under french law Zouma as a french citizen can be prosecuted whilst none resident.

TheOnlyMrsMac · 12/02/2022 11:00

Petition update: nearing 325,000 on Change.
