How many pets do you have?

And what are they? Just curious really :) I'm a big animal lover but my partner is less keen, I'd definitely have more!

We have previously had guinea pigs and hamsters, sadly all died now.

Still have a staffy and a whippet (and would like another whippet or greyhound!)

Anyone got an unusual pets or breeds? Smile

2 cats. Very happy with my 2. Both very affectionate to us and each other. Great with the kids, great company for us.

Grew up always having cats and so did DH (although he had dogs too) so was always a no brainer for me that we'd have them. Luckily my old cat loved DH when he first moved in with me, or else he'd not have been able to stay!

I love other people's dogs but don't fancy the work myself. Maybe when DC are older though.

Have had various smaller pets but hamster died not long ago and can't be bothered with another cage animal currently.

Cats are perfect for our lifestyle and family at the moment.

2 x 11 yo shih tzus (rescues), a one year old cat who I was guilted into adopting by dd (but I love him!) and a hamster that I was guilted into adopting by other dd (she's very cute!)

One DP, eats and sleeps a lot. Works during the day and would like to go out at night after being fed but I keep the door locked. No problem with house training. Sometimes quite affectionate.

@NatashaRf ahh i love cats! I grew up with them but my partner can't be convinced 😢 they're such a calming presence, in the way that our dogs definitely aren't!

@PurpleEchoLamp ahh i was very attached to our Syrian, very sweet little thing. Not so much the dwarf 😬

3 cats, 13, 6 and 1 years old. A 9 year old border collie. A 8 year old bearded dragon and a fish tank.

I'd never be without a cat.

I have two yellow bellied sliders and an axoltyl (in different tanks!). Lost my dear dog in April and I've had these critters almost 20yrs now and they're keeping me entertained. I'd love to have chickens and a goat (I have the space) but go away to stay with family a couple of times a year so they would be too much of a commitment. My DIL has giant snails and a gecko. DS2 has a rabbit and a chihuahua.

6 dogs. 4 very large ones are mine, 2 toy breeds are fosters. And a rabbit.

A cat. We are ideal slaves. We got her because mice kept coming into the flat. She has caught a few. She tolerates us well, we are utterly besotted.

We have a cat an a dog, our cat is a tabby moggy and the boss of the flat, our dog is a Shiba Inu.

We have silkie chickens, a 17 year old cat and an indoor rabbit who is normally found snuggling with DS or stretched out on sofa together, sometimes he sits on DS's lap.

We have:
1 Romanian rescue dog
3 rescued cats
2 rescued ducks
Too many fish to count they keep having babies!

@KurtWilde and @Sarahlou63 I'm very jealous of all the dogs! Though bit nervous of horses 😳 not sure why really, never really been around them!

Had to put other dog down a few weeks ago, no more pets after this. May consider another dog in the future but not right now.

Would love a cat or a dog, but DH is allergic to cats and I don't have time for a dog unfortunately

@ISpyCobraKai what are the girls like temperament wise? I had all boys and they were very soft and affectionate, an ex had a female who was very bitey! But obviously not suggesting that's representative of the entire cat population 😁

We have 6 dogs (various breeds and mixes, mostly rescues, several a bit wonky), 4 cats (2 Bengals, 2 moggies), a rabbit, a gecko and we're just about to take on 2 rescued snakes.

I absolutely love it!
