Poor little thing si only just over a year, in that time he has lost a leg / tail / part of his jaw due to abuse, and is now having emergency surgery for a urinary blovkage . he satrted behaving weirdly last night, called the vets today and they wouldn't see him before 5.40- we nearly turned that down as DH should have been in work! Fortuantely Dh ahs gone in late, as if we had waited until the morning he would have died. I BEGGED vets assistant on phone to see him he was clearly in that much pain!

Send him your thoughts / prayers please- he's a lovely fellow

He died alst night as a result of undetected heart problems- probably from the earlier abuse.

Collecting his body later.

I can't tell you right now what I'd like to do that B***d who mistook him for a football when he was 5 weeks old!

oh peachy sorry. You gave him love and a good home though.

ruty · 24/10/2007 09:27

RSPCA are usually quite good at taking people like that to court...

PeachyFleshCrawlingWithBugs · 24/10/2007 09:30

They never knew who did it, my Sister is a vet nurse and she was asked to put him down as he was too injured, but she thougt of us (it's a well known fact I specialise in cats with missing limbs / eyes / severe attitude issues ) so she passed him on. he was lovely, we had a great year with him and he had far more point to his life then if we hadnt talken him- pampered happy little mite!

I am so so sorry.

NAB3 · 24/10/2007 13:38

My cat is now 13 but was kicked by my ex as a baby. I sometimes wonder if that is why she has hypo.... and arthritis.

sparklygothkat · 24/10/2007 13:43

awww peachy I have spoken to you about Tripot (that is his name isn't it?) before. so sory to hear this

sparklygothkat · 24/10/2007 13:43

He's wrapped in a blanket now, and the boys are spending time with him which is nice. DS1 is aprticualrly cut up, as it ws officially his cat- but we're all upset.

Actually Dh is mroe angry atm- seems if they ahd accepted him when we tried to get them to see him he'd have been OK, Dh very annpyed about paying innexcess of £300 for the priveledge but it's nice to have him back, and we'll ahve a little funeral tomorrow.
