What am I going to do about a chicken that keeps in coming in through the cat flap?!

Will I have to get a new magnetic cat flap?! Any chicken-training ideas?

(Must admit that it was very handy at lunchtime because it pecked up all of the mess the kids had made under the table )

There's got to be a tv programme in here hasn't there - instead of 'Little Angels' it could be 'Little Fowl' or instead of Supernanny, Super-roosters. And instead of that terrible programme 'Honey we're killing the kids', what about 'Honey we're killing the chicken - Yum!'.

Chase, flap, RRRAAAAARRR.

It's the only way, just don't slip in the poop it will have inevitably left.

I'm still intrigued by the fox urine suggestion.

Are there any easily harvested fox urinals near you?

Or do you know any recently catheterised foxes?

Slubberdegullion · 03/09/2007 22:51

jayne, best method imo for fox urine retrival is creep up on them when they're having having a kip, place fox penis in (empty) milk bottle, place fox paw in bowl of warm water. Make schpshhhhhh schpshhhh noices as necessary. Simple really.
