Hello, does anyone own a Jack Tzu?
I've got a beautiful female, 7 months. Currently in season. Sweetest natured little thing. Just wondering if there are other Jack Tzu owners out there?

sounds interesting! We had a Jackapoodle, very cute (and loud).

Gatekeeper · 02/01/2020 12:33

Jack Tzu????

Gatekeeper · 02/01/2020 12:33

is that a cross breed?

Lordfrontpaw · 02/01/2020 12:54

I assume it's a Jackie and a shitzu (sp?) cross.

BoswellSolver · 02/01/2020 12:57

Ah yes, a Shitrussel Wink

SlightlyStaleCocoPops · 02/01/2020 12:59

I'm sure many people on here own mongrels, yes.

Pinkcloud88 · 02/01/2020 14:17

Jack Russell cross Shih Tzu. Sorry I should have been clearer.
@SlightlyStaleCocoPops, yes I'm certain they do. I was just asking as I'd never come across anyone else with this mix.

That made me Grin

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 02/01/2020 14:33

On my local FB they are referred to as JackShitz.

TheCrowFromBelow · 02/01/2020 14:36

Why is her being in season relevant?

SlightlyStaleCocoPops · 02/01/2020 14:49

"Why is her being in season relevant?"

Probably angling for fellow owners of this "breed" to mate the dog with.

Yascumbagyamaggot · 02/01/2020 14:55

Sorry but I hate these spliced "designer" names. I have a couple of Jack Russell farm crosses. Why have you mentioned her season, is she struggling? Hopefully not breeding as breeding random crosses is irresponsible.

MaidenMotherCrone · 02/01/2020 14:57

Looking for a stud per chance Hmm

MrsHardbroom · 02/01/2020 14:58

Also known as a Jack Shit?

TheCrowFromBelow · 02/01/2020 14:59

Aw let her get to at least over a year before you breed from her, poor wee thing.

FAQs · 02/01/2020 15:01

That’s a Jackshit.

Raindancer411 · 02/01/2020 15:06

If you are looking to breed, if you do it before they are at least a year old you can cause a lot of problems as they are still babies themselves. Make sure you do your research :)

PaperbackBlighter · 02/01/2020 15:09

No, I don’t have any mongrels.

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/01/2020 15:13

I have a mongrel. His face is very Jack Russell so maybe. He's a proper mongrel though. I assume many generations of 'careful' lack of breeding. Grin

dreamingofmushrooms · 02/01/2020 15:14

It's a mongrel. Or a JackShit. Take your pick, but don't give it a cutesy-wootsie made up furbaby name.

Pinkcloud88 · 02/01/2020 15:14

Sorry I just wanted to ask if anyone had any experience on this type of dog! No need for snide remarks, I don't see how my post could be offensive to anyone!
Just wanted to ask to see if anyone had one and to chat about them! Her being in season isn't relevant really, and no I'm not looking for a stud as not wanting her to breed. It's new to me so just wanted some insight!

@dreamingofmushrooms sorry I did not make Jack Tzu up, I'm merely repeating what I've heard them called before.
There are many of these names around for cross breeds, surely I'm not the only one who uses them? People can refer to their dogs how they wish, can't they?
