Ladies. Please can someone comfort me that my cat will come back? He went missing yesterday afternoon. I cant eat, sleep, function without him. Ive asked neighbours and walked around again and again. No where to be seen. Cant stop crying. I feel sick with worry that hes hurt.

Until you hear anything else, keep hoping for the best! My friend lost her cat about 2 months ago and she has given up hope, i told her to keep going and be positive until you hear different! Pickles will be out there somewhere!

Good luck!

@ells92
Thank you. I really try to stay positive but its so hard. There are just so many cats that go missing and never found. I dont know if best to accept hes gone and have closure somehow. Or just keep looking. Its so exhausting.

Not RTFT.
CharlieAlphaTango went missing for nearly 6 weeks. I was devastated.
Registered with the lost and found sites etc. even started looking for another cat (I know).

One evening about 9.30 p.m. there was knocking on the door - neighbour asking me to fetch the cat. Poor CharlieAlphaTango was terribly thin and weak. It took about a month for him to put the weight back on and he was a bit clingy for a while.

CharlieAlphaTango is a tabby too and they all look just the same when you are desperate for yours to turn up.

Please do not give up hope - it had been almost 3 weeks since our darling boy had been missing, I too was feeling just like you, when I received a call asking if I was the lady with the missing cat , I was too scared to ask - but was told he's fine , he's fine - thank goodness - he had been locked in the church hall!! I hope your best friend returns home soon - thinking of you.

@Jue01

Thanks for your msg.

Having a bad today. Cant stop crying. Missing him so much. The realisation of not seeing him again is killing me. Fell asleep in bed just now and woke up thinking I could hear him purring on my bed. He would love sleeping on me whenever he got chance. 😔

My heart goes out to you - that feeling inside you is so painful, I too used to think I could hear Billy purring. Never give up hope x x
