Hi all,
We have purchased a male kitten, I’ve grown up with cats and I don’t know why I feel scared of this kitten.

We had to close the bedroom door on us last night and the kitten kept miaowing. We closed the door so the kitten doesn’t come next to our newborn.
I’ve had to come to the other room to stay with kitten due to miaowing which means I can’t stay with my baby. Can someone please give me some advise so that the kitten stops yawning

You can tell a bengal owners house as all surfaces, shelves, window ledges etc are completely bare :).

You can hear a Bengal owners house first 😹

That's horrible Micah 😥 I hope she's having a lovely life now. My DSis rescued a British Shorthair who was used for relentless breeding, she had a happy 'retirement' being loved in a good home for a few years before she died.

Can't believe these bloody selling sites are allowed to sell live animals, as pet shops are not anymore. Disgraceful.

OP get insurance. They could have got rid as it has a medical condition they CBA to treat. What sort of person advertises a kitten for cash to total strangers online?

furrytoebean · 24/04/2019 22:04

Our old cat used to steal carrots from our plates when we weren’t looking. RIP sweet puss.

FoxSquadKitten · 25/04/2019 09:03

Whoa, there's more than one five-a-day feline? 😆

How was Hummus in the night, OP? Hope he's settling in a bit more.

SugarPrincess67 · 25/04/2019 18:35

A cat eating peas. I wish my daughter ate peas.
Hummus settled well, he slept downstairs, my father in law stayed up with him to keep him company. Sleeping downstairs was his own choice, I think I’ll buy a cat bed for him for downstairs.
Today he’s very playful, he keeps pouncing on me 🤦🏽‍♀️ Does anyone know how to sort that problem 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

If you buy a cat bed he won’t sleep in it. They never do. Grin
Kittens pounce. It’s what they do. Get toys that keep him away from vulnerable bits. So a feather on a string or a pet laser pointer (use with care!)

SugarPrincess67 · 25/04/2019 18:52

Oh dear. He literally jumped on my thigh biting with all 4 paws 🤦🏽‍♀️ Luckily it didn’t hurt.
I have ordered a fish rod type toy, with a ball with a bell in it, a few toy mice, a tunnel and scratch post, which have arrived at a neighbours house, im yet to collect them. I’m thinking about a tower tree too, will definitely look up a pet laser pointer

They love those fishing rod type toys!

WhiskersPete · 26/04/2019 09:01

Definitely get a tower tree so he has something to scratch on

FoxSquadKitten · 26/04/2019 10:40

My kitten loved this ball thing. Kept him busy for ages.

I got hummus a fish rod, with little mice and balls, a little scratch post, high enough for him to stretch. I’ll buy him a tower tree today and the bell thing too. Thank you so much guys I appreciate all your help
