Gosh, I am glad that I'm not asked to look after some of your pets when you go away! Tarantulas....ugh! Snakes - fine except they might eat our pets :)

Madratlady · 10/04/2013 13:42

14 rats
4 mice
2 rabbits
2 cats

The majority of them are rescue animals.

LibertineLover · 10/04/2013 13:44

Fuzzymum1 · 10/04/2013 14:12

7 cats
6 Degus
1 duprasi
1 russian dwarf hamster (belongs to eldest son)
2 giant african land snails (belong to middle son)
a tank of coldwater fish.

Squarepebbles · 10/04/2013 14:29

1 hamster
2 gerbils

We're more a rodent loving family.

Kendodd · 10/04/2013 14:34

One dog, a Jack Russell.

How do people manage with cats/dogs and mice/hamsters etc?

Our dog is lovely, soft as anything with people, but she's so blood thirsty we could never have any chickens/rabbits/mice or anything like that, she'd just kill them.

Shesparkles · 10/04/2013 14:37

One puppy (who actually thinks he's a toddler in a furry suit Grin )

Fuzzymum1 · 10/04/2013 14:52

We've always had small furry things with the cats, they learn to leave them alone generally. Our youngest cat likes to sit on top of the duprasi's tank and we're trying to teach him to leave him alone. Generally we don't have a problem though.

enormouse · 10/04/2013 15:04

2 dogs, Archie the samoyed (mine) and pippa the border collie (DP's)

enormouse · 10/04/2013 15:05

What is a duprasi btw?

MillyMoo1113 · 10/04/2013 15:11

2 cats, one a rescue then other a stray who adopted us and a hamster. DD wants a fish..

Personally I'd take in every stray that appears, we seems to attract themSmile

BeCool · 10/04/2013 15:24

None & I really like it that way.

aoife24 · 10/04/2013 15:37

Two moggies, one ginger and white and while sweet and dainty looking, is a bit raj, goes from play to kill in a nano second. The other is a huge, slightly sinister-looking black cat, but he's the sweetest, gentlest creature I have known.
I didn't intend to either of them, but on different occasions, they needed rehoming, so here we all are Smile

Plomino · 10/04/2013 16:23

3 horses , one Danish Warmblood , one Belgiam Warmblood and a Welsh pony .

Two greyhounds , both retired racers , one of which is currently cutting the circulation off to my feet because she's laid across my knees .

onetiredmummy · 10/04/2013 18:30

Absolutely none.

HouseLikeAZoo · 10/04/2013 18:35

Two dogs (a greyhound & a lurcher), one cat, one crested gecko - all rescues. Also three teeny guppies, the only pets we have bought.

IPreferCats · 10/04/2013 18:46

4 chickens
1 rabbit
3 cats

All rescued

Bookwolf32 · 10/04/2013 19:02

1 Greyhound. Would love to have guinea pigs, but Greyhound is a little fond of the small furries!

Orangerevel · 10/04/2013 19:04

1 Jack-chi
2 Guinea pigs
7 tropical frogs
25 tropical fish

LaBelleDameSansPatience · 10/04/2013 19:12

I dog, I rabbit, 2 guineas (sadly down from 4 Sad), 2 cats, 7 chickens, 11 eggs in the incubator, 1 gold fish and 6 white cloud mountain minnows. Negotiations are underway for budgies/parrots and a chihuahua.

abbyfromoz · 10/04/2013 19:14

2 female cocker spaniels. With a toddler they are more than enough!!

MissBetseyTrotwood · 10/04/2013 19:42

1 Greyhound (perhaps, soon to be two).
2 Guinea Pigs

Bookwolf32 (great name) - the hound is interested in the Guinea Pigs but they're always tucked away in their hutch or run and he doesn't bother them. When he thinks I'm not looking he enjoys barking at them but they're spectacularly unbothered and just sit there gazing at him.

marriedinwhiteagain · 10/04/2013 19:50

Three cats and nowadays a rare rat in the garden but Rentokil look after them nicely.

AnonymousBird · 10/04/2013 19:51

Labrador and three chickens.

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 10/04/2013 20:02

3 dogs - Brown Border Collie ('officially' she's a red tri but to me she's brown with ginger bits!), Liver and white Springer, Grey blotchy (i think he would be described as brindle) Jack Shit (not an official name!) Grin

3 cats

2 guinea pigs

4 chickens
