Catloving home needed for rescue cat (S London)

My best friend found a cat badly hurt in her garden. Took him to a cat hospital / shelter where he has been patched up (two operations), made healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered. But they have asked for her to take care of him, as they already have 100's of cats in cages. She already has 2 cats (also rescue) who are not happy about new cat. If she can't find a home, he will have to go and live in a cage in the shelter, probably for ages.

I have seen this cat, and even though I am a well-known cat-hater, I think he's great! He's a light stripey ginger, with a very characterful face - sort of stick-out-sideways whiskery tigerish hair on his cheeks. He is sociable - he jumps up at the bars of his current cage (re-cuperating from a leg operation) and meiows at visitors.

Anyone?

I don't know. My friend thinks he was lost or abandoned for a while, because she had been feeding him, befire he turned up having been run over, or the cat people thought, kicked. he might be quite aloof with kids - making himself scarce - but he might well enjoy some tlc. i willask my freind...oooh, your message is arriving...ooooooh!

Sorry, ks, your last post wasn't there when I typed my post - I wasn't being totally insensitive, just wondered what happened about the cat CATs.

he will be your little touch of street cred, ks!

MI - where's that thread I started about their horrid gristly ears? Batters has been stalking me about it ever since.
Will this be my redemption?

In Surrey, that sounds a suitable home for a cat.

In London, that would house a family of 6 with space for visiting ILs!
