Hoping that this government starts to acknowledge the strength of feeling that the everyday population has on medically experimenting on children.

It looks on the original thread like a random Google link? Is this a real Parliament petition that will get meaningful change e.g. a response or debate depending on the number of signatures, or another data harvesting exercise taking advantage of people’s feelings like all the Change.org or 38 degrees ones that are basically totally ineffective? If it’s legit, why is the link disguised?

I’ve just signed it, It was a parliament address with crown copyright so looked legit to me. Over 57,000 signatures now.

It’s a real petition that could lead to a Parliamentary debate if it reaches 100,000 signatures. The link is OK.

Wow, just checking in for the first time since this morning. It’s over 77k.

At this rate it will go over 100k tomorrow - when a debate in parliament will be triggered.

Not automatically I'm afraid. At 100,00 it will be CONSIDERED for debate in Parliament. They have covered themselves with a get out clause.
