Is 5 - 7pm too late for a 4yr olds party?

Ds is 4 next birthday. Will be inviting children from nursery so a mix of 3 and 4 year olds.

The wacky warehouse close to us will do an exclusive party for an extra £40 but 5-7pm is the only time they have.

Is it too late? Would you let your dcs go but secretly bitching about it? Or will people just not come?

Should I have an earlier time and hope the place isn't too busy (it's a Saturday so not much chance of that).

Oh decisions, decisions .

Not too late. My DS 3.5 went to an activity centre party 5 - 7 and enjoyed it.It was a school friends party so they were all the same age group.the birthday child was 4.I gave my DS a light tea at 4 pm, we were home by 7.45 , I did not bother with his bath,he had 1 story instead of 3 and was fast asleep by 8 pm.(normally in bed by 7pm).I thought it was ok for a special occasion.
