DD1 is 7 at the end of the year and DD2 is 3.

They are having a party and when I asked them what they would like DD1 said 'Football Party, Monster Cake' and DD2 said 'Ballerina cake'.

I have a little old lady who has made cakes for me in the past but I really do have to give her the exact design. She's about 83 and I feel bad even asking her but she loves doing them! So it needs to be simple but lovley.

I've googled and googled and can't really find anything that suitable.

Anyone got any good sites or ideas where I can get a good template for a monster / monster face and a ballerina.

I think they are going to end up as a round iced cake with a ballerina or monster iced on as a picture going on what she's done in the past.

Have a look at the Waitrose ones - they have a monster and a football one I think:

Thank you.

If anyone else knows of any monster or ballerina templates I'd be really graetful.

Thanks.

I think DD2 would burst, yes she'd love it.

You're not suggesting that I make it though are you?

Think it might be a bit much for my 83 year old cake maker too! ????

I dont think it is too hard, cake is made in a pudding basin, sheet of icing drapedover and barbies legs stuck into cake so head sticks out, i read about it in a nigella book

http://www.coolest-birthday-cakes.com/barbie-cake.html#Barbie07actually then again it might be hard, several versions on that link
