Terrible experience at Giggles soft play center in Bagshot

Terrible party experience at this place which I wanted to share with everyone. My 5 year old was not allowed to play pass-the-parcel because we did not buy a more expensive package. In fact nowhere in any of the packages does it mention anything about party games. After the party my daughter was in tears. Well done, you made my 5 year old cry on her birthday. Food was rubbish, really cheap crisps. The package said balloons were provided for the party but none were given. I tried to speak to the owner today who would not take my call. They actually threatened to sue me if I complained any more. I should have checked the reviews on giggles before booking as I would not have bothered.

Put a review on twitter/ Facebook page?

so as a genuine bonafide customer you came home today from the party and googled this thread and felt compelled to comment?

honeydragon I was thinking that obviously the owner/manager is sat looking at all the bad reviews and trying to rubbish them. Proving to me really that their play centre is shit

Well that back fired!

There is a pub near us that is always top of the trip advisor reviews because of innumerable near identical write ups, all from reviewers with only one review.

Every so often there is a review from a person who has obviously visited other places absolutely damning it.

Ha ha ha what a beamer, owner commenting on an old thread,pretty obvious & embarrassing.

I like that vinchenzo is a play frame expert, 'five years plus' did you read the instruction manual? (Yes, I guess you did!!)

This has to be the most hilarious thread with someone who's had such a wonderful time that they remember staff names, praise every 'feature' and the 'very very' good food. If anything it has proved OP's case beyond doubt & am never personally going to giggles!!

OP - I had a similar experience at my local leisure centre. Luckily the children didn't notice anything amiss but I was so disappointed. It was a 'disco' party and the 'disco lights' weren't working! only for a senior staff to arrive at the party in the end and 'switch them ON'. That was just the beginning of my list...
I refused to pay them anything more than I already had for the deposit. Wrote them an email explaining why. No surprise then that nobody replied to my email or bothered to chase me for £150. Ridiculous party places!!!

I didn't see this thread first time round, so thanks Vinchenzo. If I'm ever in Bagshot I'll avoid.
