I don't think I can put photos onto profile from the app. Yes, I did a grown up pizza - olives, pepperoni and meatballs. It needed a pizza box really, but given that it was done beginning to end in 1.5 hours including baking the cake, it was pretty good.

I did the clouds for it this morning while DD ate breakfast. I've painted them onto silver hologram card and left a silver lining to show through. I got the card in huge A2 sheets from the scrap store - for 25p!!

I'm considering stars from the offcuts to match the rainbows on the party bags...

This bloody dragon is going to have me in tears soon. I unpicked the busted wing so I could re-sew it - and then realised I'd unpicked the wrong one so I have to re-sew both.

I wish I'd just bought her a bloody stuffed dragon now :(

I'm on a little high because dd's crafting stuff was literally piled on the floor begind our dining table and dh suggested we get some little shelves with doors from tesco direct. I had some vouchers and thanks to the double exchange they've cost me nothing!

The sweetest thing - DD took he dragon into school on her birthday. I noticed when I tidied up her cards that one of her friends had drawn a perfect picture of Yoki, complete with the words embroidered on his tail [sniff]

On second thoughts, It's not actually her birthday until Monday. I might concentrate on the Dolly first.

I think that dragon just is bloody hard - it's not your ability that is lacking. It went wrong at the sewing the lines stage, didn't it? In which case I would either not put them in at all, or hand sew them. Mine didn't bear close inspection, but DD loves him anyway even if her other dragon keeps shoving him out of bed.

DS slept in our bed last week when we were at the tail end of all feeling poorly. He insisted on bringing a toy with him. He chose his blue dragon :)

Right, I have decided that the dolly will possibly become candles. I'll finish her if I can but if I can't, noone but you guys will ever know.

I need to do some serious cleaning before my entire family descend on Saturday too!!

Oh and I have to have another blood test tomorrow to check my blood weirdness isn't back as I think it might be and that will not be helping :(

Good to have a fall back plan. All the best parties have some good ideas which get left on the cutting room floor, as it were.

Fingers crossed for blood test. Did they actually do anything about it last time, or just wait for it to go away?

I got given Iron tablets and referred to a Haematologist.

Blathers sorry to hear you're not feeling well again. Dont panic iver the party we've said it before no-one there knows what you had planned so even if most gets abandoned no-one would know anyway. And haematologists seem to be a bit crap. I went about three months ago to have 10 vials of blood taken for testing. 6 weeks later i went for the results, they called up the screen and right across it said "all samples clotted before reaching the lab-please re-take". Argghhh could they not have told me before?!! So had to have the whole lit done again. Thankfully they agreed to phone me this time as it took 1.5 hrs just to park before. Hope your one is a bit more dependable blathers.

MBJ I've just been to the scrap store and saw something which made me think of you!! They've got bags of (about 8) Thing 2 finger puppets for 50p! Obviously, that would be some serious forward planning but I thought I'd mention it anyway :)

I also got a pin the nose on the clown game for 50p. Probably too advanced for DD and friends but DS and the old ones might like it.

In other news,both wings are now re-sewn. Next job is those fecking lines on them.
