My Grandad gave up when my Uncle asked him if he would consider going into a home, he curled up on his bed refusing to move, had a massive stroke and passed away shortly after. I couldn't see him because I was ill with a viral infection . It is heart breaking and you are right to wish she wouldn't suffer any more..

Must work hard today to make up for yesterday.

DIB, the wedding was mostly uneventful, my parents actually spoke to each other which caused my Stepmom to burst into tears. From speaking to my Father last night it appears she is manipulating stuff and has reverted to type. She was horrendous when my parents divorced, public scenes etc, awful. It is down to her that they didn't speak. She has emailed me to see if she can come up to discuss the marriage break up, erm, NO you can't. Am making like Norma and being an Ostrich tbh.
