Within the last week or so, there was a thread started by a Mum whose adult children had left to live abroad, (USA and Oz, I think), and this just wasn't something she ever imagined happening to her.
The gist of her post was roughly about how your ideas of what your family life will be like regarding you and your (adult) children can be blown out of the water by their decisions and life choices.
I only had time to read the OP's opening post, but when I decided to try and return to it, I can't find any trace of it, despite doing an Advanced Search with what I thought were key words. I didn't take note of her user name.
Can anyone help me find this particular thread?
