I've already got a degree, it's in Law, I was 1 B- away from a 2:2 so I wasn't too bad at it, had a fair few B's.

I moved on from this and am now doing something else (radiography), I'm in the second year but I don't know why I'm bothering. I can't get above a D and have failed alot. I try to follow the criteria for the assessments but it makes no difference. I ask for feedback but it doesn't explain why my marks are so low. I use all the relevant tools, back up with journal references. Maybe I'm just not cut out for a science degree. I'd really love to do medicine but if I can't do the course I'm studying now I don't have a chance in hell. Is there a magic book that will point me in the right direction?

Can you ask MNHQ to remove your post? They are like vultures sometimes though, it's not nice. WOuld you like me to shout at them for you?

I used to 'play' badminton at school, by 'play' I mean swing the raquet in the hope that I might hit something.

I'm getting too tired to finish the bloody thing now, I have until 5pm tomorrow. At least I've started it, I just need to find someone who's done one so I can get some more pointers

no, I'll leave it otherwise it will look pretty silly. I believe the accusee has quoted me anyway so not much point.

I used to play badminton once a week until I got sciatica - I wasn't much good but it helped keep me fit. I like it better than tennis because it's less pressure on my feeble wrists.

Golf is supposto be a sport I always wanted to do ballet.

I get really annoyed with people like that, they really sink their teeth in and don't know when to let go.

Ah well, she can carry on if she likes, I've hidden it and will be exerting Strong Willpower to not go back there and look!

Golf? Ha! Good way to spoil a walk, if you ask me. I did ballet until I was 15 but was never much good at it - too unsupple. Much worse now!

Badminton suited me, mostly - I'd like to get back into it. Can't quite see it happening here though! I don't mind tennis but the racquet is a bit heavy on the wrist - but at least DH plays that too so we could take DS as the ballboy and play together.

I can't see the point to hitting a small ball around a field myself.

My parents were never encouraging when it came to things outside school, they were not exactly encouraging when it came to things inside school come to think of it. They attended the school play/teacher evening thing though. I would have liked to have done ballet, hey ho.

meant to say - I have finally caved and joined FB - will I be able to find you on there?

And bum - my toaster has just blown a fuse - need to go and get a new one now

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 26/05/2010 01:38

Yay!!

I'm on there, I'm on gigglewitches page, you can type in my email and find me if you have it floating about.

Sorry about your toaster. Have you cleansed your house lately?

OP posts:

not very recently, no - it is old though, has been around for nearly 20 years (pretty good going in this day and age but wasn't overused).

I actually saw it go 'bang' - nice orange flash which tripped the house fuse. I think a wire has just burnt out. Oh well.

I'll find you both somehow - just chatting to GW on another thread!

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 26/05/2010 01:48

Maube you need to smudge/witchy your house? Especially as things keep going wrong and you are feeling all meloncholy? You could have a visitor.

you might be right - plus bad vibes from the encounter with that other poster might have contributed!

I remember when I was going through the break-up from my ex-fiancé - one day I was really stressed and the washing machine, the fridge AND the answerphone all broke at once!

Apparently I do "leak" energy though - I thought I'd put a stop to it but perhaps I need to do some remedial work.

belledechocolatefluffybunny · 26/05/2010 01:59

I should get off to bed, I'm knackered. Maybe I should smudge my house. We can have an online smudging with giggle

Night thumb

Sorry I disappeared - my book has just arrived! I though I was getting 6 complimentary copies but it looks like the 6 are shared between me and the other editor - still, 3 copies isn't bad - it looks GREAT! I am chuffed to bits - all that angst and hard work and staying up til God knows when doing the bloody Index of Doom - all worth it.

group smudging sesh would be fun...

Night fluffy!
