mine hate routine change

dinner 5-5.30 play for 15 mins, bath by 6-6.30 bed to sleep

AHHHHHHHHH

peace and quiet.

They also get up through the week at 5.30 as we both work, even at weekends they rise early as this is what they are used to

youngmama · 10/06/2005 22:00

7:15-dd 16 mths.
7:30 asleep by 7:45-dd 3.4
7:30 asleep by 7:50-ds 5.3

dd2 goes straight to sleep at 7:15 no problem.
The older 2 I get them into bed 7:30 and read to them for 10 mins. Then they can 'read' by themselves for a bit.DD1 has lights out 7:45 and she is out like a light-sometimes she falls asleep while i am reading to her.Ds has lights out by 8,but he is almost always asleep by 7:50 at the latest.

ds1 age 5 goes at 7.30
dd age 3 goes at 7.30
ds2 age 16 months goes about 8-8.30

they all get up at 6am

up at 8 am on the dot every day too

charleepeters · 10/06/2005 22:04

6.30pm for ds 9 months

bonym · 10/06/2005 22:06

Dd1 has been going at 7.30 for as long as I can remember - she is 7 now and although still goes to bed at this time, she usually reads for up to an hour - sometimes longer if no school the next day.
DD2 is 12 weeks and goes straight after dd1's story, i.e. about 7.45pm by the time I've fed her.

Gem13 · 10/06/2005 22:16

7.30 for both - 15 and 34 months.

Would like it to be 7 but we never seem to run on time!

Wake between 6.30 and 7.30.

Both nap during the day, younger for 2-3 hours, older for 1.5.

helsi · 10/06/2005 22:17

7-7.30 for dd aged 2.5. No naps during day - maybe just the odd day here and there. Wakes anytime from 8am onwards.

Wow i put my ds1 (nearly 5) and ds2 (2) to bed at 7pm everynight - im thinking this is quite early for them now! also thinking ds1 should go to bed later than ds2 as he is older and would be nice for him to have time without his little brother!

dd aged 13 - 10pm latest on school nights but invariably takes herself off to bed now at 9.30 so she can get up in time for her paper round.

ds aged 11 - 9pm on school nights

ds aged 9 - very latest 8pm on school nights as he needs almost 12 hours a night still.

The above older 3 can watch a video/dvd in their rooms or read a book if they go earlier, but lights still off at stated times.

ds aged 2.5 - 7.30/8pm. 1.5 - 2 hour nap in day, up no later than 3pm.

ds aged 6 months - recently settled into nice routine where last bottle is 8-8.30 then to bed, sleeping 12 hours through.
