IT'S OFFICIAL - I am pathetic - I cried in the hairdressers as they cut off my baby boy's golden curls.......

The really hot day last week made me realise that it had to be done. Beautiful head of long golden ringlets. As the hairdresser cut them, I scrabbled around on the floor grabbing them and putting them in a nappy sack, trying to stop my tears splodging on the floor. They all thought I was mad. Woe is me .

He's 2 in June.

You poor thing!! I am dreading ds's first hair cut and he hardly has any hair yet!!! How does he look?

unsympathetic · 31/05/2005 18:24

Sorry but that's pathetic.

Know I'll get flak for my opinion but that's the first thought that came into my head on reading this post.

I've got a lock of ds's hair in an envelope. Don't see what's so weird about it

beansprout · 31/05/2005 18:27

unsympathetic, but a coward as well. Nice. My mum always saiys, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!

CountessDracula · 31/05/2005 18:27

just the sort of thing I would do Puff I even cried a bit when I looked round dd's nursery because it was so lovely

Unsympathetic you obviously have no feelings. (Cod we know you don't )

Puff · 31/05/2005 18:27

Cod, luckily it wasn't the usual place I go to. Shame cos it's £2 cheaper !

unsympathetic, that's terrible. The mother was distraught and you're making fun of her!

don't be nasty, keep it to yourself.

CountessDracula · 31/05/2005 18:29

tripp trapp?

Puff · 31/05/2005 18:30

I was really upset and it was very embarrassing! Usually quite good at "stiff upper lip" in public .

ssd · 31/05/2005 18:30

Probably CD.

Puff · 31/05/2005 18:33

beansprout - he looks like a boy now. Dh will be happy. He said he looked like a blond Romeo Beckham before.............nah!

ssd · 31/05/2005 18:35

I'll bet he's gorgeous.

beansprout · 31/05/2005 18:36

I bet he is gorgeous as well. Ds has impetigo and he looks like the singing detective, but he is still flippin' lovely and I bet your ds is too!

morningpaper · 31/05/2005 19:10

Wuss!

Puff · 31/05/2005 19:12

I can see I'll need a bag over my head if either of my two get married, to save the embarrassment !
