I've ordered a very cute itti bitti d'lish in tiger and a cushie tushies in bumblebee...
...Oh and a complete set of starbunz- just kidding

My first of each of these brands and fuel for my new nappy obsession.

sophietom · 10/08/2009 21:38

great site btw mistermoo I could have spent serious money there

JennyPenny22 · 10/08/2009 21:42

Two - I will, I really want one!!

Jenny - I think it is over now but I guess there is a backlog. I'm waiting for 2 Ella's bumhuggers and a ME Airflow which were apparently posted last Wednesday!

JennyPenny22 · 10/08/2009 22:10

I am never ever using a disposable nappy again (apart from on holiday). Our bin is now COVERED in maggots. There are thousands of the things! GROSS GROSS GROSS. I hope the bin men still empty it on Friday! I have never had this problem before - even with fornightly emptying and hot weather. Only this time and we have used sposies for 2 days last week. Imagin if I used them 24/7 for both girls!

JennyPenny22 · 10/08/2009 22:15

Oh and regarding Upsy daisy - they have gone on holiday so have closed their custom orders for a bit. 99% sure they are still doing night nappies, but they won't be back on the site till they are back. I THINK!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 10/08/2009 22:16

Ah that would explain it - I will be patient

Scotia · 10/08/2009 22:17

Oh yuk Jenny I've never had that problem even when I used disposables. What can you do about it?

Scaredycat3000 · 10/08/2009 22:50

Hello, another newbie her
Had a great talk from Suffolk real nappy network and got a selection. Looking at all these designs I think I have the most boring collection here.
I have
Mother-ease one size bamboo
Mother-ease Sandys
Bamboo flat squares
Mother-ease air-flow wrap
Nature babies one size wrap
Pop-in bamboo
I tested them for a bit and just ordered a full set of one size bamboo. One week in and so far so good (but disposables a night ).I think I need some fantastic covers! Sweetening up DP with Upsy Daisy Welsh patterns .

mistermoo · 10/08/2009 22:52

sophietom thank you!... it has been a labour of fluffy love for just about 9 months!! (is that a coincidence?)

So, well, don't feel you have to hold back

NappyPolice · 10/08/2009 22:56

mistermoo, stock SugarPeas, jack up your discount more like 20 - 30%. Oh, and we need free delivery.

OP posts:
twoclimbingboys · 10/08/2009 23:07

scraedy - your collection sounds great. I love bamboo sandys and have recently bought Blake's first bamboo MEOS, just waiting for it to arrive now!

However, the UD side snap wraps wouldn't fit over sandys or MEOS. The aplix may - I haven't got one of those but they look like a very different shape?

JennyPenny22 · 11/08/2009 03:32

I have just got 2 more funky UD fitteds preloved! YAY! a med and a large! AND some soy/minki wipes!!!

I have just got back from a middle of the night shopping trip to get some emergency anti maggot supplies GROSS!
it might not be the disposables to blame, but we have never had a problem before, even when it was very hot. We do only have rubbish collections every fortnight though. There are now THOUSANDS of the buggers! Think I have killed 99% of them. Better have anyway staying up till 3.30am dealing with them!!

mistermoo · 11/08/2009 07:08

nappypolice well - if you buy in bulk (over £200), I am offering a 20% discount... isn't technically set up on the site yet, but can do right away if you're interested...

otherwise, hell, i've gotta live (and pay the web developers for that fancy site)

will check out sugar peas though.

God, I'm getting two great brands in soon, though. Am so excited, as sample arrived yesterday from one and is so beeeyoootiful, I hardly dare put it on DS2. Also, it's pale pink.

mistermoo · 11/08/2009 07:10

jennypenny god that is so gross
What are anti-maggot supplies? maggots are my total worst nightmare... spiders and rodents i can just about deal with, but maggots make me want to retch immediately

BaronConker · 11/08/2009 09:37

My friend flushes her bin out with bleach and the power house. Nasty. When we were little, my dad found a bag of dried spaghetti that had fallen down the back of the cupboard, and when he pulled it out it was CRAWLING in maggots. It was years before I could even think about eating spaghetti again.

BaronConker · 11/08/2009 09:38

Power house? Power hose, maybe...

mumface · 11/08/2009 09:58

Mistermoo do tell us what these exciting new brands are! Do they do pretty boy colours too?

TheNatty · 11/08/2009 10:07

Scaredycat3000 WeeNotion wraps fit perfectly over the MEOS, we are using cotton which i think is bulkyier, so def should be fine for bamboo.
they fit like the ME airflow but you can have them made in cotton, minkie and loads of other options and embroidery too.
i love mine i have 2 more on the way

treedelivery · 11/08/2009 10:38

Hi everyone!

So how glad am I I found cheeks and cheeries? I think it was a link on fb

Baby sick - emergency dr's and high temps and A&E dashes. Now in bed with her trying to get her some rest.

The runs&voms too, so she is in less glam nappies! No Itti's or magicalls going near her today!

TheNatty · 11/08/2009 11:06

aw tree soorry to hear that

4andnotout · 11/08/2009 11:16

Poor dd2 tree

My dd4 is teething and is miserable and clingy, my house is a tip and i just can't get on as she wants me to feed her to sleep constantly.

BaronConker · 11/08/2009 11:22

Poor baby-tree! (a sapling?)

A&E dash sounds scary. Hope she feels better soon.

mistermoo · 11/08/2009 11:24

mumface yes! lovely boy prints. v chic and so excited i feel a bit sick.
