New thread as the other was running out!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JennyPenny22 · 20/06/2009 23:42

Well I still feel bad for bidding against 4 on usednappies (and winning) so would rather give everybody else first choice, and I am not desperate. But will have it if nobody on here takes it!

treedelivery · 20/06/2009 23:44

Not keen on tye dye either. Good choice swapster.

Give us the low down on your bbh when you have the chance - if it's bamboo or hemp fleece and if it has the inserts. Think they are £13 new if that helps you set a price?

Rachel - I got a bargain all right! But I bought some shorties from her too, and had 2 lots of p&p so I think it balanced out for her. I like a bargain but no one wants to give away their lovely fluff do they?

treedelivery · 20/06/2009 23:45

swampster - yes it is, I got an aqua. Can never remember the name of it.

one of these

That was your fault swampster! You posted the link Colours are lovely lovely, and I suspect it will be less inclined to leg leaks than an itti. I think if the itti fit isn't spot on at the leg, wee rolls right off the hemp and out the side. As does poo. I think hemp isn't a fast sucker upper, wee needs to soak in. From what I've seen of it.
That said I have a red spotty itti on the way. Have returned a belt I bought myself on holiday to fund. Saddo.

Apologies for triple post

JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 00:02

Bit worried about Talia - she has been asleep ALL day. She fed at 4pm and then I managed to wake her to feed at about 9.30pm but she can't keep awake - not even through a nappy change! She is asleep now - on the nappy mat having some nappy free time (lying on a prefold).

treedelivery · 21/06/2009 00:05

Worried As in worried worried or wondering worried?

Does she look and feel well and her self in colour and temp etc?

JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 00:05

Oh and Tree - my tooth still F'in hurts!! Lol. Been taking painkillers every 2 hours

Oh - maybe that is what is making Talia sleepy? I have only had ibuprofen and paracetamol though which are both meant to be safe when BF

treedelivery · 21/06/2009 00:10

hmm - shouldn't do. Neither of them are drowsy drugs, although lots reckon calpol makes babies sleep. Codien might but sounds like you haven't had it.

poor you Don't overdose Missus!!

JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 00:37

More wondering worried ATM. I have managed to get her too feed again but she fell asleep at boob (which is fairly unusual for her, but not unknown) but couldn't get her to burp as she wouldnt stay awake long enough

treedelivery · 21/06/2009 00:42

NHS direct are always there 08 45 46 47 if you keep wondering. I have a direct line to them

Codeine!! Lord my spelling!! I blame my temp. When I am well I blame my education.

JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 00:53

I haven't taken anything other than paracetamol and ibuprofen. And I think only 2 doses of each today - I haven't overdosed on it anyway. The pain hasn't been so bad today (although is getting it again now but bit scared to take anything else when Talia is like this.)

BaronConker · 21/06/2009 07:12

OMG, I've got a horrible feeling that if I hang out here too long I might end up spending hideous amounts on new nappies! I've seen the HL nappies before and they are lush, but I couldn't work out what was what - all the choices seemed v complicated, and also tres cher!

Never heard of flutterby before, will check them out.

What I want right now is some BB wraps, so that I can make my two-parters look more like my BBSS! I'm in a minkee frame of mind...

4andnotout · 21/06/2009 07:15

Baron i have bb wraps for sale

OP posts:
JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 08:44

Baron - Flutterby nappies are made by a lady called Hanna and are aparently super absorbant. But she has been waiting for fabric for quite a while, She can also dye nappies and clothes that you send in to her.

JennyPenny22 · 21/06/2009 09:05

Elouise leaked last night - first time she has leaked at night since we invested in good night nappies (WNNN/UDNN). And I can't work out why she leaked! The wrap was on properly, she was wearing a large WNNN with an extra hemp booster in and the nappy, although soaked at the front - was still dry at the back?!?!

Talia leaked too - also from a WNNN but she leaked poo out the side, which I know is because it is still slightly big on her so its my fault. But she doesn't usually poo at night and it holds wee in fine.

My tooth is flippin agony today - had my face on a hot water bottle all morning but I need to get up and look after the kids! Elouise is sat in front of TV at the monet, which wont last but the hot water bottle is the only thing working Have taken pain killers but they are not doing enough .

Talia wore her WNNL yesterday for the first time and it is fab. I actually think it would last overnight at the moment!

BaronConker · 21/06/2009 09:53

4andnotout - what colour, size etc? And do you have pics?

JennyPenny - you have my sympathy, toothache is just the pits, and impossible to cope with when you've got kids!
