Rachel - I heart Clement. Fuzzis rock! That tshirt looks mint. Is anyone else buying clothes to match their nappies?

I want a brown itti, and this top to wear with bargain

I want!

Scotia · 18/07/2009 14:40

Tree, it's lovely. I think it's easier with dds to show off their nappies with little dresses. I've been using ds's nappies as shorts in the good weather with t-shirts. He's got on a royal blue itti atm with a striped top - lovely until he needs a nappy change

TheNatty · 18/07/2009 14:46

ah yes same here, matching clothes to tops. unfortunatly i tend to find only a few nappies match, and when u have to change them they then look odd lmao

I've bought a brown itti. I've done it at last!
I've wanted one for 6 months and if I cant have ione when I have swine flu when can I?

Scotia · 18/07/2009 15:00

Quite right Tree!

Yes Natty that's the problem - should really have half a dozen of the same nappies to go with each top! I suppose the answer is to buy fancy wraps but they seem so much more expensive.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 18/07/2009 15:40

swampster: love the woolies! We'll be waiting for action pics, you know! And what's the Bedbug like? Exciting! We want pics when they arrive, OK?!

TheNatty: yes, nippa nappies are my absolute favourite for Clement! Don't really like them for Benjamin (who moves around too much) but they're sooooo good for getting the perfect fit on young babies! And he can already wear size 2 Tots Bots as well, as long as they're nippa fastening. Though he can still (just) squeeze into the size 1s.

tree: yes, I love Clement's shirt too! My cousin's wife (in USA) sent it over for him, arriving just in time for our recent "heat wave", and it went so nicely with the lime green Fuzzi! It was a 2 pack - I think the pic of him on the cushion is a green striped shirt with car? it was the other one in the pack. Anyway, they're Carters brand - and I love the colours/patterns they do with baby/children's clothes - not all the boring stuff we get here!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 18/07/2009 16:24

can I be naughty and link offsite to ask the opinion of you lovely ladies? now I'm not actually selling anything (or a business!), so please don't report me! but just trying to see if my idea is silly, or possibly genius! (just kidding about genuius!) ok here goes:

I think it's a great idea - that dress would be perfect with a strawberry fields itti

Now, if only you could think of something similar for little boys...

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 16:31

wink

twoclimbingboys · 18/07/2009 17:13

swampster those woollies are fab! Blake's are a 21 inch rise too - ideal for over toddler bedbugs. In fact, if you fancy seling them on at any point ....

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 17:14

Ooooh I keep doing that!

As in I posted on your link. Tut!

BaronConker · 18/07/2009 18:28

rachel I like it - I love my strawberry fields itti so i've been taking DS3 out in it without any trousers on, on hot days! For boys maybe longish t-shirts? I've got two long t-shirts for DS3 that I just use without anything on the bottom half, so they're a bit like a dress, and then just have a cool nappy on underneath. Do get some funny looks around here though, the whole village already thinks I'm barking because I breastfeed my babies and use cloth nappies and carry them around in slings!

rusmum · 18/07/2009 20:04

HI all whats new??? Not ben on in q while. My bamboo sandys are divine- really loving them now need some WN wraps and disana for night then sorted. But nothing seems to be selling at the moment so have to wait for funds!

TheNatty · 18/07/2009 20:16

rachel i like it too, tho perhaps some nice pretty prints as well as the patterns? something like the limited edition cotton on the WN site?

WN are doing tshirt and nappy sets, but only in the AI2, which i dont like the look of much

rusmum im looking for WN wraps too, there really isnt much out there atm

swampster · 18/07/2009 20:38

Did you not want my WN wrap then, Natty?

tcb, DS3 isn't quite six months yet, it will be a while before he fills those longies.

You have spare time, rach? Sweet dress.

tree, DS3's small brown Itti is almost too small. When he's out of it, I have a teddybear who will wear it - not selling that nappy ever! I was dithering over buying him a medium or a large in brown and as I dithered a few extras made their way into my trolley. Then I realised that for the money I saved by not buying those items, I could have a Bedbug. And some woollies...

JennyPenny22 · 18/07/2009 20:57

Natty, I am still not too sure how I feel about ittis. The girls have one each so far, and love the look/feel of them (I didnt like the look of them till I actually had one here). But havent had them long enough to comment on reliability. Did have first leak this morning, but was a huge poo and a medium itti on Talia, so probably would have been better with a small. I have a small on the way (only because it was a bargain at £6 posted).

Natty - are you still looking for size 1s then? I am thinking about selling my lollipop bamboos . They are just getting a bit small now really. They are well used but no stains and still perfectly functional. Probably looking for about £4 posted for one or cheaper for more (as postage would be less).

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 21:00

Am never parting with our one and only small red itti either. Will go in memory box with tiny babygrow etc. Sigh.

JennyPenny22 · 18/07/2009 21:13

I have bought quite a few WN wraps preloved recently. Just have to check for sale boards everyday! Still looking for more medium and large though.

Got a medium fleece UD wrap on its way for £4 posted - sounds good!

Anybody know what age a large UDNN should last till? Am thinking that both of the girls will be in them at the same time, as I am guessing Elouise will be in nappies for at least a couple more years? Dont really know as havent done that bit before!

Am Jelous of 4 having such a long camping trip!

JennyPenny22 · 19/07/2009 09:34

My sister is pregnant but I think her plan is to use disposables. I think I will have to use lovely furry nappies whenever I am around her for the next 7 months to see if she will be taken in by the fluffyness! LOL. Not going to go on at her about it or anything though as I don't think it is fair. But will just show off the nice nappies!

If she has a girl, I might even pass on my small itti to her, to try out (its pink). And if I stil have any small nappies at the time, offer to lend them to her.

twoclimbingboys · 19/07/2009 12:20

jenny - Toby is 35lbs and in age 3 clothes, he can still be squashed in to large UDNNs, but the XLs are just so much nicer on him.

swampster - I hadn't realised DC3 was so young, they are ideal to see him through to PT! I much prefer loose woollies (boardie style cf. cycling short style!) anyway tbh - they still don't leak.

By this time next year I plan for Blake to be PTd and will be selling all of my stash except night nappies , but keeping his personalised triple cut wrap that will be adorning the bum of his toy bunny!

swampster · 19/07/2009 19:21

5 new BBH bamboos on ebay, £11 each delivered (or slightly less for multiples).

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 19:27

Ohhh I'm selling some nappies for the first time ever ever ever and I'm scared!!

Infact, on eis pending, after 30 mins. I didn't even have chance to come and tell you all! They are on CNT and are nearly all newborn and size one things.

But if any of you want anything you can sure jump in

This is nerve wracking!

TheNatty · 19/07/2009 20:27

well done tree had a quick look

swampster, the WN wrap isnt really us, im not a fan of animal prints. sorry meant to say but things a bit hectic here

treedelivery · 19/07/2009 20:31

Thanks! I don't actually expect to sell anything, so am astounded I have! A weenotions Hats has grown out of, and the fluffle aio we cant seem to stop leaking out of her leg. I think she is too skinny in the leg for TotsBots.

So am chuffed really!

Not expecting to sell the tiny stuff though, but I can say I tried and not feel too guilty about other purchases

JennyPenny22 · 19/07/2009 20:35

Dont panic tree! It will all be OK! LOL
