Once a week baths for baby and four year old

Is this okay?
Neither the baby (9 months) or the four year old seem remotely stinky. We wipe their faces, necks and hands every day.
Am I the only one who doesn’t bath their children every day..?

Once or twice a week here

Twice weekly for us, Sunday night and Thursday night. Mostly because my daughter has really sensitive skin and any more was causing her skin to become really dry but actually it suits us now

One shower after swimming, a shower after each of her three nursery days (usually), so four times a week.

Envious of everyone saying it's a lovely part of a bedtime routine. My DD has hated being washed since her very first bath. It's usually a very stressful experience, slightly improved by now giving her a shower instead.

Oh dinnae,there was a thread on here a year or two ago where it was outstanding how many posters didn't even bother soaping their legs or feet nevermind the ones that admitted just letting the water run over their fanny.

Probably the same posters that complain about having a shit sex life.

My sex life is fabulous so my slatternly way don't seem to be doing me any harm 😁

I think a bath once a week and a wash morning and evening is ok.
you clean them when they’re toileted and what can they actually do that makes them smell?
i think if they wear clean clothes,sleep in clean beds then it’s ok.

If your fanny’s smelling after only a day or 2 then there’s an issue with your fanny.

Even if you have a physical job and are going to the gym etc then you’ll be sweating and need to wash the sweat off but that still won’t be the smell of your fanny.

If it is your fanny smelling then your PH is off. It’s not meant to smell bad.

Come in out your children in the bloody bath. Daily. Bottoms need washing. It’s a really good routine to have and teaches children about daily bathing. It becomes the norm.

Well, in that case, I really shouldn’t tell you how often I clean my genitals then. Your pearls would explode you’d be clutching them so much.

Now if only the human body had developed a way to keep itself largely in balance over millennia….. 🤔🤔🤔
