Where do you and your partner fall in birth order?

Just for fun. I noticed in my family, everyone seems to fall in the same birth order. Probably just coincidence, but wondered if any of you had similar.
My partner and I are both second born
My brother and wife are both first born
My mum and dad are both first born
My grandparents were both fifth born
My inlaws are both first born

I wonder if my children will follow a similar pattern

I'm an only child.
DH is 2/2 (with a big age gap so sort of grew up an only!).
DM was 2/2.
Father is 1/4 (one stillborn).
MIL is 4/4.
FIL is 2/2 (but had an unknown number of half siblings).

I’m first born with Dbro 22 months younger.
DH was a happy accident & his siblings are both considerably older.
DM is the oldest of four.
DF is 9 years younger than his DBro who died some years ago.
Not sure about DH’s folks.

We are both firstborn.

I’m a middle child, DH eldest.
My DM was 5th of 6 kids, my DF 3rd of 6.
MIL was a twin, FIL an only child.
Only one that holds up to that theory is my DSis and BIL who are both eldest.

My husband and I are both 2nd of 3 siblings

My mum and dad were both second born
My mil and pil were both first born

But sil and bil are first born and second born
Other sil was third born and her husband is an only

DH and I are both first born.

When I look at my group of closest friends, the vast majority are also first born!

I’m middle - DP is an only
DM was 5th of 6th and DP was eldest

Me middle of 3.
I'm single but the father of my dc was the eldest of 5.
Most recent ex was eldest of 2.

Mum, eldest of 2
Dad, middle of 5.
Step-dad, eldest of 2 (i think)
Step- mum, youngest of 2 (i think)

DB1, eldest of 3.
DSIL1, not sure. She's one of 2. No idea if older or younger.

DB2, youngest of 3.
Ex DSIL, one of 3. Can't remember where she fell in the order.
DSIL2, oldest of 2.

Maternal Grandfather, middle(ish) of 13
Maternal Grandmother, youngest of 2. (I think)

Not sure MH Paternal Grandarents. Id have to look at a family tree.

Only patterns here seem to be divorce and Second marriages

I'm an only child and my OH is the youngest of 3.
My mum is the 2nd of 7 and my dad is an only child.

DH and I: First born (dark brown hair)
DB and BIL: Second born (dark blonde hair)
DD1: dark brown hair
DD2: dark blonde hair

I'm first born and dh is second born

I'm the oldest and DH is the youngest.
My mum was middle child, dad was oldest
DHs parents were oldest and youngest.
DB was youngest but his partner is oldest sibling
No similarity in birth order in our family!
But except perhaps men who were the youngest sibling tend to marry women who were the oldest siblings?!

I'm the eldest of 2. Dh is 3rd of 6.

My mum was an only child, my dad second born, dh's mum was the youngest of three, his dad was third out of 6, dh was first born, I was 12th, so no pattern there.

Interestingly DP & I are first born
DSis & her DH & both middle
Dbro & DP are youngest
BIL & SIL are also both yougest

but my DParents are middle & youngest

I’m first born and my DH is the last born child.

im actually the first born of 10 ! (24 and youngest siblings are both 4) and my dh is an only child ! first time he met my family he felt like he was going crazy bc of the noise😭😭 calls my parents (both 42) super parents

Me and DH both youngest (me 2nd, him 3rd)
Both parents youngest (one 2nd, the other 3rd)
Eldest son with an eldest daughter
Youngest son with an eldest daughter (can’t be right every time!)

Only one couple in my family has followed that order.
My brother and SIL are both second borns (although one is a middle child and the other is youngest)
My DH is firstborn, I'm last.
My mum firstborn, my dad middle.
My sister firstborn, BIL second.

Interesting! My DH and I are both first born. My parents are both second born. My in-laws were both only children.
