Anybody’s child have this hair colour?

So my 14 month old has this strange kind of pinky coloured hair. It’s not brown, it’s not red, it’s just quite pink looking. At toddler classes he doesn’t look like the blondes, brunettes or gingers. I can’t describe it to people because I don’t know what colour it is! Anybody else’s baby have this colour and what did it turn out? He has dark brown eyes, really dark eyelashes and mid brown brows but they’re quite sparse still.

@Zuzu2025 It does just look blonde on that pic. Not pinky at all. Maybe it does look 'pinky' in 'real life.'

@Deadringer What pretty hair your daughter has. 🤗 Also @ButteredRadish DD and @spiderlight son. Light ginger/strawberry blonde is a nice colour for hair. And deep ginger/red is glorious, A-la Fizz from Coronation Street! People with hair colour like this often have gorgeous thick curls too! Smile

@catin8oot5 Your DS's hair is nice but looks more mousy blonde than strawberry blonde to me. (on the pic you posted...)

My daughter had the same colour and it was also really sparse. She is now 18 and has dark auburn hair with golden highlights. People stop her all the time to comment on it

I'm very sorry. I have no idea why my post went on 4 times! Blush ^

TBH, baby hair colour doesn't always equal adult hair colour.
My sister was white blonde until she was about 2, then went very dark brown.
My son was warm blond and then went medium brown.
I've been brown all my life.
If it does stay strawberry blond(e) then it will be particularly lovely when the light shines on it.

Me and my son were the blondest toddlers until about 4.

We both have dark brown hair now.

I've kept some of his baby hair - you'd never know it was his.

Don't worry about it growing, my dds hair was exactly like that, strawberry blonde and sparse, here's a recent pic at the hair dressers.

😁 My dd was pretty much bald until well after her 2nd birthday and now has ALL the hair. My son is the same, the thickest hair ever!

Like this. The one in blue has very pale eyebrows and eyelashes to the point they are nearly invisible. The one in yellow has light brown eyebrows and eyelashes. Their hair is very subtly different shades but they are both clear redheads and yes, I get stopped in the street! Especially as we are in Germany so it's less commonly seen here. People will compare them to Prince Harry/Ed Sheeran.

DH was a redhead as a child but it faded to dark blonde in adulthood. I was very pale blonde as a child but it darkened to a mousy brown. My half siblings on my dad's side are darker redheads.

Does she have any red in it now? A hint of red? I hope my boy’s stays like this

Not a bit of red now. My late dad and his mother my granny, had red hair. She does have blonde highlights now though as she had her dyed pink about 3 months ago! It’s still very fine and flyaway though.

Here are my kids. My son at about 18 months and now at 21, my DD on her first birthday and now at 20. His hair was very light brown/dark blonde as a toddler but has gone to medium brown now. DD seems to have kept her auburn hair.
Your child doesn’t have enough hair yet to really get a sense of the colour and many fair haired kids go brown. I even had a super curly friend go straight in adolescence!

That was my hair colour till 5, fine, not very thick, then came through a warm red tinged brown, still fine, but thick.

Beautiful hair in all those pictures, what lovely children. Yes you’re probably right, too soon to tell. Baby boy needs a few more follicles 😂

Their hair changes so much OP. Its really impossible to know whats going to happen. DS1 who is now 18, came out carroty ginge and it was straight. Then that disappeared and he went very blonde. Then he got curls and looked like a cherub. Then it started to darken from the top down but all the colours in it so it looked mid brown unless you saw it in sunlight and it was clearly red. He had the chop a few weeks ago and its clearly got a red tint. (that lot went to the little princess trust)
(DS2 came out with gold hair, then it went straight and white blonde, then yellow blonde and now its mid brown)

Incredible hair in every pic but I particularly like the chestnut colour. Gorgeous!!

With the brown eyes, he might be what my mum used to call a Welsh blond. Dark eyes and hair the colour of clogau gold.
