Is this chicken pox

My daughter's nursery has had chicken pox going round and she has been sent home as some spots appeared on her leg.

Does this look like the start of chicken pox? She is vaccinated but aware that doesn't totally stop her from catching it

Is this chicken pox

Ok, so biology doesn’t work with “proofs”. This is for math and physics. Biology takes time, a long time. Not 30 years of studies that don’t use controls. I have a degree in biology (pre med) and I’m in nursing school. My husband is a doctor and likewise rejects flu shots. Another junk science that gullible people believe in

You aren’t a doctor though.

My DH is very senior in his field. That doesn’t mean I can give advice based on his job. It’s not osmosis.

I don’t know any doctors who think flu shots are junk. Hope I don’t end up being treated by your DH. Sounds like he’s not fit for purpose.

Some of the anti vax waffle you are coming out with - sounds like you might not be either ….

Funny how we can all be anything we want to be on the internet.

Pretty much gone now. She got a couple more after I originally posted so it was either a mild breakthrough infection or wasn't chicken pox

Everything I said is a medical fact which you can verify independently and also with regard to Japan vaccine policy

DNA is filtered out because the risk of it causing cancer (and many other serious health risks) is also a medical fact, as are documented cases of contamination.

i don’t have an axe to grind but those are risks you are taking with any vaccine and chickenpox is just not a high risk disease to children.

Make your on choice but be informed.

Independent genetic labs can now afford to test vaccines and they have released their RAW DATA to anyone interested. Govt in the US refuses to make their raw data public and are losing credibility so I’m unclear why anyone would want to follow the US vaccine policy.

Chickenpox is just not a high risk disease to children.

Though I am sure your extensive medical research and information will have uncovered the fact that chickenpox is a VERY high risk disease to any one who has a compromised immune system , maybe through ongoing cancer treatment, disease, genetics, age or other reasons.

High up in the field? appeals to authority isn’t science. I don’t need to have a PhD to be able to “understand how science works”. I have 2 life science degrees with an emphasis in bio Statistics, and more clinical experience than you and your “DH”.

Many doctors and nurses besides my husband (who was a ER nurse before MD) refuse the flu shot - for a variety of reasons. Tons of people in nursing and medicine who are skeptical of the cdc schedule, especially since Covid, Physicians Against Mandates blew up in my hospital and there were protests as well as lawsuits. Covid has caused a very large number of doctors and nurses to become vaccine skeptics.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Life science - which disipline? 2 degrees but not a PhD? take it from someone who has got a PHD (in a very relevant field) and a lifetime spent in frontline biomedical research in many different contexts as well as teaching generations of medics and scientist's: no one who understands these topics is an antivaxer.
