How hard is the first 6 months of parenting ?

I know - different for everyone.
We havent had the pleasure of becoming parents yet.
Currently doing ivf.

Fully aware the first 6 months of parenting will be tricky.

Would be interested in hearing about peoples experiences and tips

It’s a bit like asking “how hard is it to go from girl to woman”. If I tried I would say like walking through a one way invisible doorway. Everything is the same but different. Mostly it’s the most amazing satisfying experience, and sometimes you are so tired or misunderstood or anxious it’s overwhelming.
