How to mask postnatal depression for the next 12 months?

Really struggling right now in the newborn phase, I know I’ll be fine once they’re 12 months old.

How can I get through the next 12 months and make it out the other side without bringing PND into it?

TIA

I get your motivation but trying to keep going and ignoring the depression is only going to make it more likely that the depression lasts the whole year and beyond.
Facing it, getting help and support is more likely that it's readily managed and you can truly enjoy the first year.
I had severe pnd and psychosis it was awful and it did make the first 2 years harder but we did still get to enjoy large parts of the first year with me trying to make the most of days when the depression was more tolerable
I had support from my HV who arranged for me to have baby massage to help with bonding. I was under the perinatal MH team and had therapy with the infant parenting service.
