Do you regret having one child?

I have a 1 year old DD and she is my world. I have lots of time to have a second child as I'm in my 20s. However, I'm too traumatised by pregnancy and childbirth to have another. I can't face it. I don't know anyone who is an only child. Does your child enjoy being an only child? Especially if they are school aged or an adult.

DD is 6, no regrets!

Plenty of Only children in our circles though.

But a lot of kids with siblings don't like that either, so there are no guarantees either way.

Correct that's why I said 'I don't think there is right or wrong'

My only is nearly five and it doesn’t seem to be holding her back so far. She has a few friends she sees outside of school but I think she really likes returning to the calm of a quiet home.

No. not even sure where i could put a second one anyway. The shed?

im a younger sibling and was born to provide company to older sibling… not sure it was worth it tbh. We don’t speak as adults

No regrets, she always says she doesn’t want a sibling, likes her young cousins but glad to go home alone.
Very sociable, has lots of friends, 3 of her friends are only children too.
