What is your toddler sleeping in tonight? It's so warm 30 degrees in her room

It's currently 30 degrees in her bedroom.
Window is open, curtains are shut. Her bedroom door is open. All other windows upstairs are open. I have a fan on and a block of ice in front of it. It just won't cool down in there. I'll be dressing her in just a nappy. She is two and a half. She is a hot baby too.

What temp is your LO bedroom? And what are they sleeping in?

Omg 29 in our toddlers room tonight. It’s so hot I feel like my own skin is burning.. He’s all sweaty so have put the fan on him.. I don’t know whether I’ve done the right thing or not. Only time will tell..

@Peachee is it still 29 now? It's just not cooling down at all!

@Peachee I've got the fan on. It's corculating around the room and some of it is going on her too... also not sure if it's the right thing but the air from the fan doesn't feel too chilled and I'll be having my fan blowing on me all night

25 degrees in there but he's in a long sleeve vest and pj bottoms. Bad Mummy.

Fast asleep and seems fine 😱

Short sleeved romper - it's sooo hot but have recently moved from a new build so feeling so much happier as it was hellishly hot

Are your toddlers’ rooms upstairs? Heat REALLY rises. I remember we were in a two up two down for a while and I swear upstairs was a minimum of 15 degrees hotter than downstairs whenever it was the least bit warm (never in the winter though, ha). If that’s the case for anyone else, consider checking the temp downstairs and moving the cot there if you get truly desperate.

25 degrees and I have a fan going just outside the bedroom door. I also have the air con on in our bedroom with the door open so should help cool the little hallway between the 2 bedrooms.

She's 16mths and just in summer pjs (vest and shorts.
We have to use cot bumpers as she throws herself around in her sleep any bangs her head a lot, but she sleeps against them too so ends up all sweaty and hot.
She usually has a 0.5 tog baggy on too but it's too hot.
