When did your child stop napping?

Probably one of many threads about this so apologies - what age did your child stop napping? 2 year old daughter is currently showing signs of wanting to drop the nap. Even 30 minutes of sleep in the day means she is not tired enough to go to bed before 8.30pm. Isn’t too bad at weekends but not great when she has to be up at 6.15am for nursery! Just wondering if 2 is too early or quite normal? Thanks in advance

DC1 was 2years 3months (coincided with DC2 being 6weeks old 😫)
DC2 was 18months. He's almost 2 now & if he has a really rubbish nights sleep (very, very rare) he'll take himself for a nap at about 9.30am (we only let him have 30mins - 1hr at most or he won't sleep at bedtime) & will still sleep at bedtime. If he falls asleep in the car (as he did after delivering supplies to shielding in laws) we have to go for a REALLY long walk to tire him out.

Ds was 4, I had to gradually phase it out between 4 and 4.5 before he started school. Dd was earlier, around 3 when she stopped napping every day (at the same time as ds stopped) but she would still nap perhaps once or twice a week between 3 and 4 years old.

1 stopped before 18 months, as a 6mth old would sleep for 15-16hrs a day and the other was still napping the days not at school nursery! (but only for 20 mins) This one sleeps for pleasure and although has always been a self settler he still doesn't have restful sleep.

DS1 was just over 2 and a half
DS2 was maybe 20mo

Thanks everyone! Not sure if she’s ready to drop the nap or just not getting enough exercise/stimulation due to lockdown. Kids ay 😂

Just after she turned 2 I had to limit the nap to a couple of times a week otherwise she wouldn’t be awake until silly o clock!

She’s just turned 3 now and doesn’t nap at all.
