Why are you all so picky about nappies.

When my dd was born she had really bad nappy rash for the first two months. I put her in terry nappies. The rash cleared up, so she stayed in Terrys. End of story.
You lot are so up yourselves, wittering on for threads at a time, about no conditioner, shaped nappies, no napisan, how do you think your parents copped with nappies when you were kids do you think they spent whole days worrying themselves into a tizzy over the whys and wherefores of nappies. Get over yourselves.

I think you've also got to rememeber that although most of us were in terry's not all of us have a mother to show us what to do...

I don't and are very grateful about threads such as this. I am thinking about reusables for ds2 and would rather use others' advice rather than expensive trial and error.

It is also through threads like these that I discovered something I have a skill at, and a new business.

Without these threads that would never have happened.

Actually my youngest was only out of nappies at easter. regardless I still don't get the whole nappie obsession.

some of us don't get Harry Potter either, and we all saw how well that thread ended...

Do you actually read any of the responses to your op or are you standing there with a blindfold on, your fingers in your ears saying 'la la la la la I'm right, you're obsessed, I'm right you're obsessed.....'

Muppetgirl I did read all the responses and took the time to digest them and think hard about them and quite frankly I still do not understand everyone on heres obsession for talking about nappies, anymore than I understand the husband of a friend of mine that has a whole room that is dedicated to starwars figurines.
