  1. How many children do you have?
2. Do you live near family who would have your dc's or who you can pop in on? 3.Do you have any time alone during the week at all?

Just being nosey as am trying to make decisions about having more children
Thanks!

One more question
4. Would you do it all again?

  1. 2
2. No 3. A bit, when they go out with their dad, but I am a single parent 4. Loyalty demands I should say yes, but as they are the most demanding ages (4 and 1) and have both been up since 6.30 am and are both still awake, the answer is a resounding NO
daisyandbabybootoo · 22/07/2007 22:03
  1. DS - 5 years, DD - 7 weeks
  1. PILs 10 miles away and have DS usu once a week for sleepover. Not left DD with them yet. My family all 250 miles away
Also have friends with young children who take DS for a few hours, but we have to reciprocate.

  2. Not much as DH works away and stays away from home 4 nights a week.

  1. How many children do you have? 2 (aged 5 and 3)
2. Do you live near family who would have your dc's or who you can pop in on? My parents are about 30 mins away but they are elderly and I don't like to impose on them. My mum has looked after both boys once a couple of weeks ago so DH and I could go out for the evening. 3.Do you have any time alone during the week at all? During the school term, I managed to get to a couple of exercise classes with ds2 spending an hour in the creche. At the weekend, DH will take over so I can go to the gym for an hour. It's really important to me to do this. DH does have a number of weekends away through the year, so it's a case of give and take. I think time for you is essential. 4. Would you do it all again? Not tempted to do it again, very happy with two lovely boys.
elizabethmayli · 22/07/2007 22:16
  1. 2 3yrs and 21mth
2. yes MIL will have them for a bit. Not that often but its nice to know shes there 3. leave them in creche at gym sometimes. they in bed by 7.30 and dh at work so peace perfect peace. They have started 'just going upstairs to play' recently. would rather be with each other than with me 4. Trying for more
stressteddy · 22/07/2007 22:17

Thank you one and all for replying
Really struggling with this desision.
I have one ds, wonderful but bloomin hard work
Live nowhere near anyone
No time alone at present - can't even imagine the feelings of tired nausea caused by more than 1!!
I think you are all doing an incredibly hard job. I truly admire you all
