With heavy wetting ds we have now found our ultimate nappy and wrap combos are:

Daytime: Bamboozle, fleece liner and tots wrap
Nightime: Fluffle, boosted under the fleece with a muslin, and a bummis popper wrap over the top- chunky but oh so snuggleable!!!

What are your combos- everyone seems to swear by different things!

Thanks Snuggle, doesn't sound too bad, and I have some Lansinoh nipple cream - that's pure lanolin isn't it?

OK, I'm feeling brave, I'll have a go at night nappies. Will order a wool and a fleece wrap from you soon (and maybe a couple more baby beehinds )

Pixie Knits do some goooooooooooooooooooorgeous wool.

The pixie knits look really nice, Flame have you used wool during the day on a hot day? It's getting quite warm up here now and was just wondering how you found it for HOT days?

I use fluffles and motherease popper wraps day and night but have to put 2 boosters in overnight, I might try your muslin booster idea tonight!
I have bumgenius if I have to leave her with someone who doesn't 'get' cloth and imse vimse organic for when she is in special outfits that need slim nappies.

I use fleece liners 90% of the time except for the first nappy of the day which is always the one filled with the most disgusting poo....

I've just discovered little kiwi quick flips - brilliant for night, especially as their wraps are higher in the rise than most others I've come across.

During the day - depends on how wriggly dd is. If a nappy change is a wrestling match, then it has to be a pocket nappy (fuzzi or nature baby) so I only have to get one item on her. If she's partially uncooperative, anything with applix or popper works, and if she's really good, then I can use my nice nappies that need nippas.

Another vote for the boring onelife and motherease nappies here...slim fitting, easy to use and never had a problem with them. WIth the booster at night they seem to have excellent absorbency. I like their wraps too but have also just got a lovely blue starry tots bots wrap that looks lovely and cute on my ds (thanks flame).

I also have two little lamb nappies that are nice and have just got a bumble nippa from flame but ive not tried it yet.

Flame · 05/06/2007 10:54

Yup, use wool 90% of the time - it seems to just stay body temp.

For daytime we use mostly prefolds and bummis covers, with some pockets and AIOs for DH and going out and some fitteds for cover-free wear around the house.

I just got a dancing bears fleece soaker for nighttime. We use it with a ME onesize with the snap-in liner and it is perfect! No fastenings or elastic so nothing to irritate little miss sensitive skin.
