dd1 has very strong tastes in music, prbably mine and dh influence in her early days, as we were often dj-ing in the living, vast vast record collection, ranging from d+b, hardcore, mellow, trance etc etc. lately we havent been listening to this stuff, and in my car is my chemical romance, james morrison, paulo nuttini etc etc. she asked last night for MCR album in her room.

is 7 too young to have their own cd collection? i know this sounds totally stupid, but i think MCR may be too old for her.

DS loves Panic! and Lost phophets, he even came to the LP concert last year with us. He like HIM too. He has music on his mp3.

Nah, go for it. I loved my mother's Sex Pistols and Clash records when i was that age.

When DS is older he'll have every argument for anything he wants, considering the content of our record collections / books / films etc!

At least it's not Westlife et al. Ick!
