Having thought about this a bit more, I think if MN towers will give you your own topic, maybe they could add one of those caveats at the head of each thread reminding everyone not to discuss movements and locations.

If there is any reason for them not agreeing to add a topic, this should be it and it needs to be given careful consideration by everyone involved.

You musn't forget that this is a public forum and anyone can read and post messages here. How do we know they're genuine? We must all be acutely aware of the security risks ever present around us.

Sorry to put a downer on an otherwise cracking idea!

good point bella - I keep forgetting to take our car pass out of the window at the shops - DH goes mad at me, I keep saying well no one's going to bother about our car are they - his reply is always the same - that's what the 2 lads in the train station thought in colchester (apparently they were shot or something??), he either says that or - well you will bother if the car won't start and something happens or it's been tampered with - you jsut don't think some times when really I guess we should. (also why DH won't have any pics online in his uniform as his old unit was a v specific one.)

I have had security drummed into me by DH for the past 13 years bella! He does my head in sometimes, but i know why

And I think if stockbrokers go away and put their lives at risk for 6 months and more at a time for a pitiful wage, leaving their wives virtual single parents, then their partners too have every right to whinge
