Grrr and at you who have had poos in pootty.

DS (almost 3) is excellent with wees, taking himself off to the big boy toilet and everything.

Wont poo in potty or toilet.

Have done stickers and bribes galore, he does not care.

TheHighwayCod · 21/11/2006 09:29

madmarchhare · 21/11/2006 09:31

he doesnt go on floor, its in nightime nappy and occasionally in pants - but surely he cant clean poo off his pants?? - It would be bloody everwhere for a start

TheHighwayCod · 21/11/2006 09:32

hunkermunker · 21/11/2006 09:36

DS1 will now sit on a potty, so I think that's enough progress for November...

DS1 adores his. He wanted to sleep on it the other night. He does maniacal laughter on it. This is all while fully clothed btw. I have a feeling I'm not doing this right...

I shouldn't be on this thread - I'm not toilet training him at all yet!

GeorginaA · 21/11/2006 10:10

Don't go - the more the merrier. This thread is keeping me sane

madmarchhare · 21/11/2006 13:57

So, what now? He said he would clean the poo off his pants and then had a strop because I wouldnt let him.

OMG OMG OMG, after going on at him constantly this afternoon, and offering 2 milky ways and a digestive biscuit he has just done a poo it his potty.

I could see he wanted one, he kept wriggling about and touching his bum. He got poo on his hand and asked me to wipe it off, so I did, with a wipe.

I put the wipe in the potty and I said 'put the rest of your poo on there' and he did.

Not sure if it was the earlier threat or the lure of goodies out of reach on the fire place that did it.

So, now what? I am saddly mistaken that the hardest part is over? Is he on a diet of milky ways and biscuits for ever?

Pruni, I think I still need the wine, Im in utter shock.

madmarchhare · 21/11/2006 20:03

I have to say that when I say going on at him I mean getting a bit tougher and telling him that Ive had enough. I know that this is supposed to be a big no no when it comes to poo but I really do think that the fish was right.

Cod reigns poo queen (for now anyway)

GeorginaA · 22/11/2006 07:49

Woo hoo! Proper poo on the potty! Okay, extensive chocolate bribery was used, but hey - not complaining!

madmarchhare · 22/11/2006 11:47

Georgina, you have had a success? or do you mean my DS?

GeorginaA · 22/11/2006 12:17

We had a success this morning, but seems like he only got half his poo out - saved the rest for a pooey pair of pants later in the morning...

Personally my DS lerves his potty seat thing. He sits on it to watch Tellytubbies. It's in the sitting room though so it doesn't get cold, but it does get a bit smelly for us at times.
